This will go a long way to avoid the pathetic phrase, "After all I did for..."
That party you're preparing to go to, that journey you're about to embark on, think carefully... Are you going because you want to, or cos your friend is going? THINK!
As regards to lending money, unless you run a loan-giving establishment of some sort, don't lend more than you can afford to give out (especially families and friends). I repeat, do not lend more money than you can afford to give out! On the occasion it doesn't come back to you... Fine and good. In the end, the person will never be able to come ask for a loan from you again.
Remember, you and YOU ALONE are responsible for your actions.
