“I can’t take it any more” Fai cried into the night. He didn’t care who heard him anymore. He yelled even more. Not so much words, but just screams of fear, terror and frustration. Soon enough Kurogane was outside questioning Fai about the noise. But then, when he saw the mage’s eyes, all words were forgotten. His mask had fallen. Kurogane often wondered how thick his mask was, and he saw now that it was thicker than anyone could have thought. What the ninja saw before him was a broken and scared figure. A figure that flinched at his every movement.
“its ok” he said to him.
This didn’t help at all, actually made it worse. Fai quickly backed away. But Kurogane wouldn’t let him go that easy. He approached him like one would approach a wounded animal. Slowly Fai was within reach, but before he could comfort him something happened he did not expect. Fai leaped at him. Clinging to him like a scared child.
“I…I don’t…… I don’t want…….” Fai spoke between dry sobs.
“What? What don’t you want” Kurogane questioned.
“I don’t want to be alone any more………… but….but I am……. I am not worthy of love. I am a disgrace. I am a killer of happiness. I am an unlucky monster.” As he said this Fai’s words became ice cold, his eyes darkened and gripped Kurogane’s shirt even tighter. “sometimes I think they deserved to die.” Fai continued. “bust most of all I am the one who deserves to die. Is my blood stained life even an equal traid for his innocent one? If I die will he live? How many have to die? I will kill them all for him. Only him.”
Kurogane was shocked. Could this be true? He asked himself. Who? Who would you do this for? What happened? “Every time I close my eyes I see their faces. The bodies. So many. So cold. All their eyes where open, watching me. I tried to close them, tried to let them rest. But there were too many. For every eye I closed it was like another opened.” Fai continued on. Stating things of his past. Kurogane listened carefully.
Soon Fia realized what he had been saying and who he was saying it to. He looked at Kurogane and said sorry.
The next thing Kurogane knew he heard voices. He looked up into ice-blue eyes. “GET OFF OF ME!!!” He screamed at the blonde mage. Good, Fai thought. It worked. He forgot everything.

And the travelers continued their journey, because to all the others, that night never happened.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! This is my second story on here! It’s just a little thing I did cause I was bored of sims. I would like to thank all of the people who read this!! Yes.
