Thanks for the request @meghan_tiffany
Veronica didn't felt like herself, she was a strong women and she needed to feel like she was fulfilling some kind of propose, like she was doing something that gave her some kind of independence. Archie only arrived home late from work, their 8 year old daughter Sarah and 5 year old Noah being under Veronica's wing during all day and she was getting more frustrated by the second. She loved her kids more than she loved herself, they were the result of the most beautiful moments she had with Archie, but, in her teenage years, she had planned so much for herself, she saw such a brightest feature ahead of her, taking on the world by herself, however, fate had a strange way of twisting things around. She was very happy with Archie and with her life, two beautiful kids, a worldwide legal company that belonged to her, a beautiful house and her soulmate, by her side but She couldn't take it anymore, she wasn't like this, she needed to have a life more than taking care of their kids, she needed to be independent.
"Mommy Noah hurt me" her daughter came running into the kitchen, annoying cries causing Veronica's head to shake, she was losing her mind.
"Sophie I'm trying to cook your dinner, please just go back to the living room and ignore your brother sweetie" she spoke, not too loud, trying to keep her calm, her head was aching from all the screams and the annoying sounds coming from the tv, not paying much attention to the way difficult to cook fish that stood on the frying pan.
"When is daddy coming?" Noah joined the girls in the kitchen, bringing toys with him.
"Noah I've already told you to not bring your toys into The kitchen" anyone who could see Veronica now wouldn't recognize her, the once ice princess of riverdale high had now her body covered in a set of baggy grey sweatpants and sweatshirt, her once luscious black hair tied in the messiest bun ever and un manicured hands, she looked Like everything she had swore upon her mother's pearls not to look like. Contrary to her thoughts, Archie though that she had never been more beautiful, her body was now even more perfect after conceiving the two best things in his life, he though that nothing was wrong, they were happy, him working during the day and Veronica being at home with the kids, which was totally not the case.
"WHERE's DADDY" Noah screamed, Veronica turning around quickly, dropping the frying pan, it was her breaking point.
"For god's sake Noah, I don't know" she raised her voice, a sudden desire of running away invading her mind
"YOU NEVER KNOW" Sarah joined him, attacking Veronica who was even more quick to snap back, she felt like she had lost all of her identity.
"Both of you to your room" she stated, not raising her voice but making it clear that she was beyond pissed
"I'M HOME"
Archie entered the kitchen, a happy look smudged across his face, making her want to slap him for interrupting but also breath in relief that she wasn't alone anymore. The kids ran to him and hugged him tightly, ignoring Veronica, increasing even more her fury.
"I SAID TO YOUR BEDROOMS" she lost control, the kids immediately running up the stairs surprised to hear their mom scream, a shocked and mad Archie looking at her. Just the thought of him being mad made her fume with anger, he didn't have that right, he was off all day.
"What was that about Ronnie?" He walked to her dropping a hand to her back which she quickly shove off.
"They were screaming at me so I sent them to their bedrooms" she simply said, afraid that if she spoke more words she would start to cry in frustration
"Was that really necessary?" She couldn't believe it, he had just questioned her, after she gave up on her own life and happiness to take care of their kids.
"What did you just say?" She turned around, now facing him, hoping that he would take back everything
"It just seems like you are overreacting" Archie brushed it off, just like a father who always tries to get his kids of trouble but this time it wouldn't work
"Seriously Archie? You are out during all day and just come home at diner time and you're telling me I'm overreacting? I don't go shopping in months, I don't get my nails done in months or my hair or even walk into MY company that I spent years building and now I just walked away!"
"Veronica I'm sorry I didn't know you felt that way" he tried to stop the conversation, not knowing if he was in the right mind set to deal with everything, that was the thing in Archie, he had the terrible habit of pushing things forward, hoping to never face them.
"No Archie, have you looked at me? No because when you come home I'm already sleeping, exhausted, and I'm glad you don't because I look like a mess! I don't even look like me, my body is destroyed and I can't even leave the house! I love being married to you and I love our kids but I'm not the house wife type of mother, if you know me as well as I though you do you know how I work, I need time for me, I need time for shopping, for getting my hair and nails done, for running my company that I'm so proud of!  And to top it all you are probably cheating with some hot blonde secretary at your stupid law firm which I don't fucking blame you because look at me, I'm not the bombshell that I was and I'm never going to be like again you just need to fucking accept it!" Archie was blowed  away, how could she ever think that about her, she was the most beautiful and independent girl in the world at his eyes, everything he could ever ask for.
"And now you have the nerve to question my decisions? Surprise Archie, I'm not happy and carefree like I was and I'm sorry if that upsets you but that's the truth"
He didn't know what to say, how could he possibly find the words to prove her that she was wrong, that she wasn't any of these things that she said? The answer was he couldn't. He reached to her hand but Veronica was too embarrassed and exhausted to even reciprocate so she adopted Archie's usual atitude and shoved his hand from her hers and turned her back, walking away from him and the burned fish, climbing up the marble staircase that had once amazed her when they bought their house
" where are you going?" Archie asked, worried, of course they had their fights but this one was one that he couldn't handle.
"I'm going to get you a pillow and a blanket, after YOU make some dinner you're sleeping on the couch." Archie didn't respond, he just limited himself to hearing her footsteps disappear into the staircase while ordering something from postmates on his phone, there wasn't time for cooking another fish
Veronica was so frustrated that she couldn't even cry, it was like she had lost herself while raising someone new. She heard Archie telling their kids to come down and she entered her room locking the door behind her, the unmade bed and the opened drawer with Archie's ties made her head shake making her go strait to the satin covered bed, making it, following to the drawer so she could fold everything back into place and close it. After she was done she sat on her bed examining her room, a tv that was always broadcasting the NFL games and a closet filled with Archie's suits. Archie, Archie, Archie, that roomed stinked Archie. Veronica had always been the center of attentions so when se moved with him she decided that they would try to make the room as pleasant to both of them so they decided to leave the small room closet to Archie and leave an huge room right next to their bedroom all to Veronica, a present from Archie himself, a place that she didn't visit in years.
She missed her old self, her feminin self, her glamorous self but she always got what she wanted and this time it wasn't an exception. She grabbed the tv remote and turned the E! Channel, the most girly and fashion related channel she could think off, on for the first time ever but she didn't stayed to watch, she knew exactly where she was headed next.
She opened the last door on the hallway, her mouth opening with the view, just like she had forgotten how it looked like or like she had never seen it before. In her front wall were her dresses, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiguer, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Balmain you name it. At the right stood what seemed like infinite collections of high heels, sandals and boots and in the left black, white, nude and some red purses followed by some skirts, blouses, tops, some pairs of fashionable and elegant pants and her capes and coats. She closed the door behind her and walked to the middle of the room where there stood two chairs, lots of sex had happened on that two elegant chairs, back when there was just the two of them. She got up again and walked around the room collecting a pair of black knee high boots, a short plaided brown skirt, a black belt with white pearls, a black turtle neck and a wine colored coat with fur around her neck. She remembered wearing that outfit like it was yesterday, that almost perfect weekend with Archie At the lake house, the glory of her teenage years and how he loved seeing her in those short skirts, but time had passed and time changes things, her body was nowhere near the same at her eyes. Veronica pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and decided to try it anyways. She looked in the big mirror in front of her,the skirt was now more short but everything else fitted perfectly, she took off her hair tie letting her natural loose curls fall down her back, her hair was now long going down to her boobs but in Archie's opinion this hairstyle fitted her face better, even though he though she was perfect even if she was bald. She turned around, spinning her body, almost embracing her old independent and strong self, she was still that rebellious and smart teenage girl and now she could see it. A sudden knock at the locked door made her small sneaky smile vanish as she walked to her door in the heeled boots like a pro, her now more carved hips balancing side to side as she opened the door, finding a tired Archie, now without his tie, shirt half unbuttoned, and a box of sushi in his right hand.
"I don't know how you do it" the redhead confessed, an exhausted look on his face as he entered the closet and plowed down on one of the chairs.
"Where are the kids?" Veronica said sternly, he wasn't getting out of this one that easily.
"I put them to bed already" Archie muttered looking up to see his wife but being completely blown away by the sight, the outfit that Archie remembered oh too well still fitted her perfectly but he could tell that her curves were now more defined and bum a little bigger, he couldn't help to smile "wow Ronnie, you look even better than I remember" Veronica turned to look at her husband and sat down on the other chair, kicking her boots off, her feet weren't what they used to be.
"Archie I was being dead serious about what I said in the kitchen" the raven haired girl looked fiercely into her husband's eyes, persuading him.
"I didn't know you felt that way Veronica"
"Well as my husband I though you were able to figure it out on your own!" The girl snapped again making Archie reach for the sushi box and hand it to her, an "I'm sorry" gift.
"I don't want to fight" the girl nodded taking the box from his big hands and quickly opening it.
"Me neither but there are things you can't avoid Archie, I want to go to work and to contribute with something to this family" veronica tried her best at explaining her problems as she simultaneously stuffed pieces of delicious sushi into her mouth, Archie couldn't help but smile like an idiot at his wife's cuteness
"This isn't a laughing matter"
"I have the answer to your problem Ronnie" the boy moved in his chair his hand now resting on Ronnie's thigh
"Bring it on"
"How about this, I'm going to let the firm know that I will be arriving a little bit later to work and I will drive Sophie and Noah to school in the morning and you can get ready and go to work, I can also pick them up after" veronica turned to look at Archie, heartfelt by his proposal, he gets her, and she just nods, her lip stuck between her bottom teeth.
"Thank you Archiekins"
"See Ronnie, you just have to talk to me, we will figure things out, we always do" the redhead approached her sweetly attempting to nibble on her neck causing a giggle to leave her mouth as she got up, Veronica smiled to herself, feeling his eyes on her body in the short skirt, and took her shirt off slowly followed by her skirt, leaving her only in her two red lacy one piece that she had chosen to wear to te lack of other options as her basic underwear was in the cleaners, she could hear Archie's gasp.
"Am I still sleeping on the couch?" The boy asked, his voice know husky due to the lust felt.
Veronica smirked and looked over her shoulder, directing her gaze to her husband
"Why don't you come and find out Loverboy?"
