Katie looked at me intently, pleading for forgiveness with those green eyes of hers; my greatest weakness. Who was I kidding? She was Angel Eyes. When I finally spoke, I said, "That will never change, but I need time to consider this. I'm not walking out on you; if you need anything don't hesitate to call, but give me time."
She nodded, but I knew she was holding back tears.
