IT SEEMED SO LONG AGO precisely a few minutes have passed, and Katherine had almost forgotten what it felt like to feel so...alive.

Just a few months ago she was seen as nothing more than a girl who had forgotten who she was, where she came from, and anything of her past. She was pitied, and treated oh-so fragilely — but, she was considered lucky.

The story was this: a woman left for dead is found by our city's most eligible bachelor who is both kind and loved by all is saved and welcomed into his beloved home with open arms! What a lucky woman!

And most of the story was true — most of it.

There was a woman, and she was found by a man who was truly loved by all and allowed her into his home. But she knew that there was something definitely wrong with this story.

"Miss Katerina! Miss Katerina!" The young woman was brought out of her jumbled thoughts by two small and excited voices.

Smiling, the young woman turned to the two young children running up to her in excitement as she stood up from the warm grass and welcomed the two with just as much excitement.

"Aren't you two suppose to be studying with the tutor? Your mother will be absolutely livid with you two when she finds out." She scolded after hugging the girls and smiling at them.

The two were identical and beautiful; shiny blonde hair and emerald green eyes full of youth and innocence and no one was really able to distinguish them except for a few people. And they were always full of happiness, pranked for fun, and were always dressed in such beautiful gowns.

"If she finds out," the girls giggled, their eyes twinkling and full of mischief.

The young woman wondered if she would ever truly remember her own childhood — she couldn't even remember her own name, until a certain man who took her in told her who she was before she was found, and she also wondered why was she unable to remember anything at all and how he knew her.
