Chapter 8 ~ Off the hook?

Calum ~

It had been a few weeks since the last time something went wrong. Nothing had happened for at least two weeks now. We were starting to think that maybe they'd given up and we were off the hook, or maybe not...

Alee ~

I heard the familiar clunk of the letter box as it opened and an envelope fell through the door. I picked it up and saw it had my name on the front, I opened it and it was a piece of paper inside...

' Sweet Alee,

I have something important I want to talk to you about. Meet me in the park at 11am if you want to talk to me, come alone.

See you soon, anonymous x'

I quickly placed the paper in my jean pocket and put the envelope in the bin. Cal glanced at me "okay?" he asked. I nodded my head, grabbing my car keys, my phone and my jacket "yes, just remembered I need to be somewhere" I smiled before leaving the house so he couldn't ask anymore questions.

I got into my car and closed the door. I rested my forehead against the steering wheel while I calmed down, I could feel my heart pumping fast in my chest, I could hear it too. I was so nervous and scared. I would be meeting whoever it was who had been trying to split Cal and I up. They might try to hurt me! I gained control of myself and turned the key in the ignition, the car thundered to life and I pulled out the driveway and went down the road to the park.

I parked up in the park car park, locked my car and went and stood near a tree where whoever it was could see me clearly. I looked around anxiously glaring at anyone who passed or came near me, for all I knew it could of been anyone! I eventually start biting at my nails, a nervous habit. Then I feel a familiar hand on my arm, I look up and I'm shocked by who I see. I take in the guilty yet somehow sad, pained look on his face and glare at him "it was you?" I question, he gives a simple nod...
