I love him like the way he loves me
I love to play with his hair as he drives us toward some destination I've lost interest in
Because I'm surrounded by him
I love to listen to the way he speaks, when he's relaxed; at ease.
I love the way he rolls his eyes with the playful glint, and lazy smirk
And he smiles at me like he's trying to relay a message, and it works
I read the words right off his lips, his cheeks
There's no need to ask him just what it is he thinks
I'm painfully aware when he's away from me
But it's a gentle pang of longing, it's so lonely
I say I love him In at least every other sentence, god he must think I'm crazy, is this insanity?
he is stuck in my brain among picture perfect memories
And I really truly never want to know my life any other way
He is the night to my day
And I will worship him like the stars do the moon
And I hope he'll return soon
Because I miss him,
And I know he will listen.
