JOURNEY OF HAPPINESS
(Short Story)
On a bright day of August.1st, 2016, a girl got a golden chance, a tremendous offer of having one week tour along with her cousins at a place where she has always wanted to be, which was unfortunately ruined by someone very special to her. In grief and sorrow, no offense she cried a lot and wrote a poem known as "Denial". Watching ceiling of her room depressively she had two options either cry over spilt milk or elevate her. She kind of chose the second option. She went out in her home's lawn; glanced beautiful red flowers, felt cool breeze, crushed dried leaves in her hand and smelled it, the fragrance was all in her hands & she asked herself do you really need to go all the way to a place that's out of your reach to enjoy?. No of course not, her heart replied. Looking above the sky she saw a folk of black birds flying in the air, a white pigeon on a stem of a tree, breath taking shines of sunset engraved in long green trees. All of this spoke to her "Elevate yourself; Plug in the happiness because you deserve it all". She turned on some soothing music and started enjoying the constant rustling of leaves. After that she viewed the black stairs towards the terrace and took a deep breath in that fresh air.
It's truly said, Enjoyment doesn't comes with money or time. It lies inside you. All we have to do is elevate it instead of suppressing it.
