Dahil sa sobrang awkward ko sa nangyari ay tumahimik nalamang ako at hinayaan ibalot kami ng katahimikan.

" You can play some music if you want. Para naman mahiwa tong katahimikan na to. Ganito ka ba talaga ka tahimik? O galit ka pa din sakin. Oh , not to mention from our last encounter too. Im sorry? I was just kidding especially kanina with the preference thing." sabi niya habang nakatingin sa daanan may mapag larong ngiti sa labi.

Kahit walang tubig ay na bilaukan ako. He is speaking too bluntly for my liking. I mean im the most blunt person I know. But there he goes.

" You were so riled up! But I must say you handle it well. " patuloy niya. Smiling from the memory.

" Sino ba naman di magagalit pinahiya mo ako at ng maniak ka pa.." bulong ko sa gilid.

Humalakhak siya. " there's that spitfire I was looking for. "

Tinignan ko lamang siya ng patalim sa pang aasar niya. Ngunit lalo lamang siya na tawa.

" I guess I should apologize. I'm not usually like that. I just wanted to test you out. It's not everyday you have a De La Vega squirming around you plus your a wild card to me. I haven't heard of you in your family."

" If you wanted to 'test' me you should have done that while we worked. " I grumbled out.

" Now, where's the fun in that? And the opportunity presented itself I was simply grabbing it."

" Wow, business man ka talaga eh no?"

Lumingon siya sakin at nag smirk.

" Don't worry, you'll get to know me a lot more. You'll know business isn't the only thing im interested in. "

The double meaning behind his words just gave me chills. Hindi ko maiwasan na maramdaman na parang ako'y isang laruan lang sa isang plano niyang pang aasar.

He was pushing so many buttons and I don't know which emotion to let out but one thing was for sure. I wasn't in control when Austin Salazar was around.

"So... how come I haven't seen you in any events or even in clubs? Dapat kilala na kita ngayon, Your name should be enough to cause crowds and I wouldn't forget a face like yours. Kinukulong ka ba sa bahay niyo?" tanong niya.

I rolled my eyes at him. Kulong talaga?

" Im just a busy person, not really a social butterfly, my profession doesn't really allow me. " that and because my family ingrained in my head to stay away from your family.

"Still, being the designer you are I should have seen you more at dahil nga sa last name mo. "

"Like I said badminton doesnt let me have the luxury to enjoy social events. My designing is freelancing or just work in our company both jobs just let me be a free spirit. I don't even mind the credentials as long as I earn some money to support my badminton career. So tama ka lagi lamang ako naiimbitahan sa big events as a De La Vega pero madalas di ko pinapatulan.

" but still I should have at least noticed you...." sabi niya di matanggap ang

"Well, umattend naman ako ng some events before kaso bilang lang iyon and I doubt you were there it was mostly exhibits and charity kung andun ka man we still wouldn't have met. I leave too early."

" Well I still can't believe I missed you." sabi niya di pa rin kontento sa explanation ko. Kaya hinayaan ko nalang at nag focus sa daanan.

" So where to?" tanong niya at tumingin sakin dahil stoplight pa sa ngayon.
