"Savannah! Get off your god dang IPad and set the table!" Mr. Rae, Savannah's father yelled from the dining room.
"But Dad! I'm about to obtain diamond! Please let me finish!" Savannah whined.
"I don't give a fricking crap about what your gonna get! Your gonna get a whipping and your IPad taken away if you do not set the fricking table! Get out here! NOW!"
"Ugh! I hate my life!" Savannah screamed as she stomped out of her room and went up the spiral quartz staircase to her mothers room, about to sob.
"Savannah, sweet heart. What's wrong?" Savannah's mothers soothing but raspy voice asked.
"I hate Dave! Why did you have to marry him! He hates my guts!"
"Oh darling, I think you are over exaggerating a tad. Sure, he is a bit busy and controlling, but what's the most threatening thing he has ever said to you? That he would take away your IPad?" She teased.
"No, actually. Just a few moments ago, he said he would whip me!"
"Okay, that's to far. Its time that I finalize the papers."
"What papers?"
"The divorce papers. He has zero rights to threaten you like that. I'm so sorry sweetie. I'm just not sure he will sign these..."
"Wait, mom. What about our house?"
"Oh honey. Your father is a plumber and I am a real estate agent. Who do YOU think pays the bills?" She laughed.
"Oh, right. Can you kick him out?"
"As a matter of fact... c'mon. I have been dying to do this." Shailene grabbed Savannah's hand and led her downstairs where Dave was.
"Ahh, my sweet, sexy young wife. Why aren't you dressed? I thought we were eating out tonight? At Young Couples Dungy Diner!"
"You little fat kiss up. Savannah told me what you said. I bought this house, I have the rights to kick you out. So get the hell out ta here ya big ol jerk before I smush your balls in the fridge."
"You little she devil. I hated you from the minute your head popped out. Your a disgrace to the world, but extremely sexy. I was planning on forcing myself onto you tonight. Anyways. Goodbye."
