**Natalie's POV**

It was 3:12 when it happened. I remember the pain shooting through my throat as he firmly gripped my throat and clamped his hand over my mouth. I struggled for what seemed like hours before I was in a car screaming my lungs off. My lungs started to burn and I gave up because it wasn't worth it. I heard someone screaming behind the car and I turned around to see a boy, about my age, I could barely see his face, as my eyes weren't focusing, chasing the vehicle as I banged my fists against the back window.

I breathed on the glass and wrote 'HELP' and the boy nodded and went to his car. There was a pang of hope flowing through me as I waited patiently and I sat back and bit my naiIs. felt the vehicle come to a stop and I was hauled out of the car by my hair. I yelped and he clamped his hand over my mouth once again and I bit his hand and he struck me with something hard and I felt my face go numb. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I dropped to the ground along with the guy who grabbed me. I looked up to see Cameron Dallas. I must've blacked out because I woke up to someone putting ice on my face. I was in too much pain to move so I just laid there and pretended I was still asleep.

I suddenly heard voices whispering and lingering throughout the room. "How'd you find her?" I heard someone say. The voice sounded familiar, yet I couldn't quite make out who it belonged to. "She's my neighbor and I heard screaming so as an instinct, I ran outside to see what happened." someone else said. I tried to hold back a smile. My face hurt too bad anyways. I felt the hand lift off of my face and I felt the ice stay there and warm lips connected to my cheek and the the door shut quietly. I lay there for another 20 minutes before I decided to get up and use the bathroom unfamiliar to the area. I shrugged and went downstairs and saw Cameron Dallas sitting on the couch, watching TV. I felt my lips curl into a smile and I must've made a noise because his head shot around and said "Well well well, look who's finally awake." and he smiled and pulled me into a hug.

My face pressed against his chest and I winced. He pulled away and his hand found the bruise on my face, his fingers brushing it. He planted a kiss on my bruised cheek and offered me something drink. I nodded and he got me some water. I sat down at the counter pulling out my phone. I looked back at Cameron. I couldn't believe I was lucky enough for this to happen to me, being an ordinary girl.
