Me and my best (and only) frieNd we're walking the crappy side of this horrible town.

"Millie, what am I supposed to do?? Your about to start your job and I'm still stuck here!" gaten yelled

"You know, Mr. Ronet probably could take you in and you could clean some fish."

"Ugh." Gaten groans and rolls his eyes

"You know what, let's enjoy the time we have left"

I couldn't sleep that night. Everything was happening so quickly. It felt like just yesterday I turned 18. I had to clear my mind.

I could do one of those face mask diy thingys they have on Pinterest. Nah those are as fake as Selena Gomez's hair.

I decided to go for a walk

Yes, I got a job but I have it as a servant for the royal highnesses that get ever single fucking thing they want.

I mean, I needed a job and that one was the only good and easy one I could find.

I play with the rings on my finger. I have a purple one from gaten on my index finger,
A blue one from charlie, my brother, before he left this horrible city for college, on my pinky. A yellow one on my thumb from Paige, who left for the same reason.
And finally, a pretty pink one on my middle finger from Ava.

Ava was the best little sister ever. I loved her so much so that's why I put hers on my middle finger.

So that every time I flipped someone off, which I did a lot, it would be bedazzled!

Those rings meant the world to me. Every time someone really important gave me a ring they had to be really important or else I wouldn't wear it.

I still haven't found one for my ring finger. I saved that one for something.

I just didn't know what.

While I was thinking I dropped one of my rings.

Well that's great. My heart rate sped up because I would literally die if I lost one of my rings.

It was fairly dark so I couldn't see much. I bent down and tried to pick up my ring. While reaching down I bumped into something.
