Evalyn's P.O.V

As I walk into school, I feel someone jump onto my back.

" AHHHHHHH " I scream, completely unaware it's my best friend.

" Calm down, it's just me!" I hear her say.

I turn around to be greeted with my best friend Grace. I wrap my arms around her and tightly hug her. She tries to pull away, but I don't let go.

" I haven't seen you in forever!!" I yell into her ear.

" OMG Ev, you nearly broke my ear drum-" she's interrupted by a huge squeal coming down the hall. I turn my head and see my other best friend.

" ELLIE!!" i yell as i run and give her a big hug.

" OH. MY. GOSH!" Grace screams as she joins us in the hug.

I've missed them so much. I've been living in Australia for the past 6 months, with my family. I moved to New Jersey about 3 or 4 years ago. So i decided to go back to my family in Australia and spend some time with them. Seeing i hadn't seen them in what felt like forever.

Not seeing your best friends for like 5 million years is literally the definition of hell. Not being able to talk to the people you spend everyday with, sucks balls. So when i decided i wanted to move back, i was dying to see them.

" How have my best bitches been? " i say walking down the hall.

" Horrible with out you ! " Grace says pouting her lips. Ellie nods in agreement.

" Same here!" i add.

" Anything new happen while i was gone?!" i ask.

" Well..." Ellie puts her hand on her chin trying to think.

" Ms Dutch got fired for some unknown reason. Weird i know!" she begins.

" Ethan and Meredith are dating, AGAIN." she says emphasizing the ' again '.

" What a surprise." i say sarcastically.

" Speaking of Ethan? Where are Ethan and Grayson! " I say looking around.

Ethan and Grayson are also my best friends, but I've known them a lot longer than Grace and Ellie. Their Mum moved to Australia and joined my mum's work when the twins were about 3. Her and my mum have been best friends ever since, so Ethan, Grayson and me have always been close. When they moved away i was devastated, every day i would cry in my car and not be able to go to school. I spent nearly every second with them. So when i was old enough, i just had to be with them. And that's when i moved to New Jersey, and ever since then. Life has been great.

Then... I see him, he swings around the corner and looks me dead in the eye. His jaw drops as i ran as fast as i could toward him. I jump into his arms hugging him extremely tight.

" ETHAN!!" i scream as i look at him.

" EV! I thought you were never coming back!" he smiled.

" Oh silly, you know i could never leave you and Grayson!" I say shaking my head.

" I've missed you so much!" he says while putting me on the ground.

" Me too!" i yell.

" Ev?!" i hear someone say. I look behind and Ethan and see Grayson looking shocked yet excited.

" GRAY!!" i yell. I give him the biggest hug. He hugs me soooo tight, that i nearly stop breathing.

" G-Gray," i say trying to breathe.

" Oh sorry," he says letting go of me.

" I've just missed you a lot!"

" Me too Gray!" i say, giving him a huge smile,

I turn back to Ethan and see.. Her. The bitch. Of ALL bitches.

" Meredith." i say crossing my arms.

She pulls back from kissing Ethan. She looks at me up and down. A look of disgust covers her face.

" Oh.. it's you." she snarls at me.

" Did you miss me? " i say sarcastically.

" Hardly, " she snaps back at me.

" Meredith," Ethan says grabbing her chin making her face him.

" Please be nice to Ev." he stares her dead in the eye.

" I'll try to." she looks back at me and walks away with Ethan, their hands intertwined.

I turn toward Grayson and slump forward.

" That's the one thing i DIDN'T miss while i was away." i say.

" Don't listen to her," he comforts me while rubbing my back.

" She's not a nice person, you know that."

" I know, i just feel bad for Ethan. He deserves so much better." i say.

" I know, but it's his choice." i nod in agreement. I walk into my class and shrug it off. Just before i walk in, Grayson grabs my wrist and turns me around.

" Did you want to stay over at ours tonight?" he asks.

" I'd love too!" i say, he nods and smiles. I smile back, turn back around and walk into my class.
