I opened my eyes and looked around. Trees, trees were everywhere. My vision was slightly blurry. I got up, getting a horrid pain in my arm. I hissed in pain. I walked wherever my legs took me. After about 20 minutes of walking I saw a shabby, small house. It looked abandoned, but it was good enough for me. I walked towards it.

I was walking up the doorsteps, spectating the house. It was white, but it was turning beige. A large window was on the right, closed by maroon curtains. Spiderwebs were here and there, it didn't bug me, really. I looked at the door. The numbers 1 and 8 were on it and 9 was written in between the two, in marker. I placed my hand on the doorknob, opening it, surprised it was unlocked. "H-Hello?" my hoarse voice echoed.

No answer.

I glanced around the slightly dark room. I opened the curtains,  letting some light in. That's when I realized shiny swords, daggers, bow and arrows, and spears were displayed on the wall. The weapons looked slightly familar, maybe my mom owned one.

"Heelllloooooooo," I repeated. I walked into the tiny kitchen, checking if there was any food. The fridge had food, the cabinets had food... Food. Food. Food. I decided to walk up the stairs, gentle creaking noises were made as I stepped on the stairs. I got to the top, finding myself in a narrow hallway. There were only two doors. I opened the closest one. All I saw was a neatly made bed, a small dresser and a closet... Nothing special. I opened the other door. A mirror above a sink, a toilet and a glass shower. I closed the door and headed downstairs.

I layed down on red sofa with a rip on the arm rest. I was having a staring contest with the ceiling. My eyes felt heavy and I got tired. As soon as I knew it, I was fast asleep.

Mom was cooking speggheti with blood sauce, my favorite. Shannon and I were talking about a hot vampire, Dan. Well-- Shannon was. "Ohhh, isn't he cute?" she asked. I just nodded and smiled. There were screams coming from outside. "RUN!" a man screeched. The three of us looked at eachother, wondering what was going on. Mom decided to looked out the window and ran back towards us.

"Go outside, run far away and hide," mom told us. "W-what about you?" I asked her, panicking. Mom just ignored that question. "Go," she said, "and take this." She handed the both of us small daggers. I tucked it in my back pocket. Shannon and I ran out the back door. The first thing we saw was fire everywhere. My eyes widened at the site. I looked at Shannon. "Shannon," I yelled. She looked at me and we ran, far away from...this. I stopped running when I saw my mom with a dagger in her throat and wounds all over her as she layed on the ground, surrounded by blood. "No no no no...Mom!" I tried to run towards her but Shannon pulled me. "Mom!" I yelled once again.

I looked at Shannon, she was also crying. "We have to go," she sniffled. I saw Dan laying on the ground with a sword in his stomach. We looked at eachother, nodded and ran. I ran into old guy with white hair, covered in blood. Once he turned around he grinned. "Well, look who we have here," he said in a deep voice. "Miss Crow, Miss Raven," he smirked.

I woke up and frowned. I sighed at the memory. I sat up and rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand. I looked out the window, it was probably midnight by now. I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I opened the fridge, getting myself something that looked like blood in a carton. I opened multiple cabinets, searching for a cup. I grabbed a glass cup and poured the blood. I tasted it. It wasn't blood, but it was good... I read the label and than put the carton back in the fridge, drinking more of the fruit punch. As I was putting the glass in the sink, I heard the door opened. I turned around and saw a cute boy looking at me.

He seemed more surprised as I am. "W-what are you doing here..?" I asked. "I live here," he said. Well, this house isn't abandoned after all...
