(Y/n) POV

I walk around making my way around beacon and thought about the tournament...

(Y/n): Ok let's get this straight all I have to do is find a person with a better rank than me and win the duel sounds easy enough

I stop and lean against a wall with my fingers at my chin

(Y/n): now where am I going to find someone like that.... Hmm maybe the school has a rank board or something around those lines..

I head back to my dorm but bump into someone

???: I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going.

(Y/n): no no it's my bad um I'm (y/n) (l/n)

I outstretch my hand for a handshake.

Gray: I'm Gray Scarlet

He shakes my hand

Gray: well (y/n) I have to be going see ya around..

(Y/n): right see ya... Oh wait um...

Gray: what?

(Y/n): Do you know where I can find the rankings of students here... For dueling of course...

Gray: oh so I presume your gonna try to enter the tournament well just check the library forums on your scroll.

(Y/n): wait that's it no crazy quest where love is made traitors appear and you yourself being the final boss..

Gray: nah it's no RPG man that stuff doesn't exist in this universe... Yet.

(Y/n): oh... This universe what do you mea-

Gray: Oh would you look at the time well I have to go uh see ya.

He blasted off faster than team rocket

(Y/n): Meh I guess he was in a hurry oh well might as well check out the forums.

Else where

Roman POV

Roman: Man if I don't get that batch of evilness back cinder is gonna

I gulp at the thoughts of what happened last time I failed to do what cinder had told me to do. I look over and see Neo hugging a red and blue stuffed plushie that looked very much like a superhero hmm oh well

Roman: Neo throw away that stupid plushie and follow me to the path of victory

Neo looks at me deadpanned and goes back to hugging her dumb plushie

Roman: argh are you seriously acting like a child

I go over to snatch it and she refused to let go I kept pulling her to let go and she shook her head

-Shhhht-

I fall back and look my hands seeing the head of the plushie. Then I looked up at an angry Neo waddling towards me.

Roman: Neo easy let's not rush into... these... Decisions?

Cinders POV

I going to punish Roman for not getting that-

-whimpers-

What was... I walk over to see Neo sad trying to put the head of her Spider-Man plushie back on .

Cinder: um... Y'know not gonna ask...

I walk in ready to yell at Roman

Cinder: Alright Roman explain to me how a -

I look to see Roman bleeding from several spots and his joints and limbs twisted

Roman: c-cinder... help..

Cinder: Uh y'know I let emerald and Mercury handle this

I walk out knowing exactly what happened to him and why Neo was like that..

Meanwhile

Ruby POV

I wake up in my bed and start to remember what happened

Ruby: Right (y/n) was being so cool and making everything look so easy

I get out of bed and move towards my door to go and catch up with my team

Ruby: I really need to get my head out the clouds it's not like (y/n) is my whole reason for existence

I go out the door and make my way towards the cafeteria

Ruby: but (y/n) is....his smile melts anything in a sec... His hair seems so soft I bet it is and those heterochromatic eyes could make anyone get lost in them

Yang: is that really whatcha think of (y/n)?

Ruby: Ahhh Yang u-um w-what do you m-mean?

Yang: you really have a crush on (y/n) don't ya?

Ruby: Well he seems nice and very friendly

Yang: I bet he also is very well built

Ruby: Gah Yang don't say that when he is not here!!

Yang: well he is here see he's just about to start a duel with Blake

Ruby: oh.... Wait what!?

Yang: Yeah see

She points over to see (y/n) into a duel stance against Blake

Ruby: Aww I thought I'd get a chance to duel him

Yang: worry sis you will

(y/n) POV

Alright time move up in the ranks apparently Blake was low key ranked at 13 and so I challenged her and she accepted it

(y/n)/Blake: let's duel
