Before diving into the chapters, it's important to note that the initial version of this book, which you may or may not have read, was written back in 2018 when I was 17 years old.
Back then, I was a novice writer and not well-versed in the concept of writing from a specific point of view. My writing style leaned more towards conversations, where dialogues between characters took larger space over dramatic descriptions. Due to my limited vocabulary, I chose to convey my story through dialogue, even using emojis to express emotions within the scenes - a reflection of my youthful inexperience.
In 2019, shortly after my second work, "Consequences," received the "Best of the Beginners" award from thefictionawards, I decided to unpublish this book. I was embarrassed by the way I had written it and felt inadequate as a writer.
It took nearly three years for me to realize that I had made a mistake by unpublishing this story. It was a process of acceptance, acknowledging that I authored the story and should embrace it. That's when I decided to modify the story while preserving its essence. Although I had gained significant knowledge about writing during those years, I chose not to completely alter the format of the story. I believed that doing so would lose the originality and innocence with which it was first written by 17-year-old me. Thus, I rewrote the story, blending both conversational and third-person perspectives.
