My name is Addison Dawn, but you can call me Addy. Unlike your typical eighteen year old friends, I'm extremely introverted.
It's been my dream since I was nine to become a YouTuber. I've finally built up the courage to give it a go.
Reason being, I'm moving schools. In less then a week. I was bullied at my old school, so to finally be free from there feels good.

Three days later,
Monday, August 27th.
I woke up and stared at the white ceiling. Today's the day, I thought. Today is the day I get to start fresh.
This was my last year of school, and I wanted to make the most of it. I told myself I'm going to be more open and do more things.

I quickly hopped up out of bed. I showered and got ready for my first day.
I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.
'Good morning love! Are you ready for your first day?' Mum said as she smiled a warm smile at me.
'Yep!' I smiled back.
I grabbed a cereal bar and ran out the door.

I stood outside the school doors and took one last look before heading inside. I took a deep breath and smiled. 'This is it,' I whispered under my breath.
I walked inside to find teenagers everywhere, talking to each other. I felt like the odd one out.
I jumped as I felt somebody tap me on the shoulder,
'Hey!' said a friendly voice.
I swung around to see a pale blonde girl standing next to me, smiling.
'Oh hey,' I replied with a smile.
'You must be new. Haven't seen you around before!'
I awkwardly laugh, 'Yeah, how did you know?'
'This school is quite small, everybody really knows each other,' she said as she looked around at all the other students.
'Well, I'm Kylie Peyton, talk at lunch?'
'Sure! I'm Addy Dawn,' I smiled.
She gave me a hug and walked away.
Well, you've made a friend! I said to myself.
I heard a lady cough, I turned around to see a woman in her 50's smiling at me, with a boy standing next to her. I could see she was about to talk to me.
'Welcome, Addison! I'm your principal, Mrs Langley,' The woman said.
'Thank you!' I awkwardly replied.
'This is Landon Miller, he will show you around the school today,'
I looked over to the boy who smiled at me. I smiled back.
'So,' she continued, 'I better be heading off. I hope you enjoy your time here,' she gave me one last smile before rushing back to her office.
The boy took a step closer to me and put out his hand, gesturing me to shake it.
