I arrived home, parked my bike, locked it, and made my way inside. "Mom, I'm home!" I announced as I walked into the living room. My parents were fast asleep on the couch, exhausted from work.
I quietly smiled and headed to my room, where I took out my creative pod and browsed through some pictures I had taken. Suddenly, my creature pod rang, and I answered to hear my sister's voice on the other end.
"How was your first day of school?" she asked. I filled her in on my day, mentioning that I had caught up with an old friend named Tasha and that my nickname "creature girl" was still in use.
I also mentioned that my creature pod had been temporarily taken by someone named Vilot, but I had managed to retrieve it. "I miss you guys already," I admitted as I got up and went to the kitchen for some ice cream.
My sister informed me that Chris was out exploring with Martin, and Koki walked in to say hello.
After chatting for a bit, I hung up and put my phone, wallet, and creature pod in my mini backpack.
Before leaving, I wrote a note for my parents to let them know where I had gone.
