Aggie POV

I wake up yawning, stretching my arms over my head, arching my back. I barely slept last night. I was too nervous for Sascha's match.

He did it. He made it to the finals of Roland Garros. He earned himself a chance to stop all the murmurs of whether or not he will ever win a major.

Might I remind you, he is only 22. He still has a long career ahead of him yet as long as he doesn't have too many injuries.

Sneaking out of bed I head to the kitchen and make a cup of tea and see Eve sitting at the kitchen table.

"Addie, why are you keeping mama awake?" I peak over Eve's shoulder to see a wide awake baby.

"She has me exhausted today. She refused to sleep last night" Eve says defeated.

I smile at Addie and suggest to watch her so her mommy can go back to bed. I take baby Addie out of her hands and sit at the couch. "What shall we do until everyone wakes up Addie?" I question.

Without any surprise I don't get an audible answer. Good talk Ads.

I make us some eggs and cut hers into small pieces and help feed her. When she is finally done eating I eat myself and sit on the floor with her, playing with light up toys and building blocks.

I can't deny I have some serious baby fever lately. How could you not love babies and want one of your own? If only the timing was right, maybe I could bring it up to Sasch but he wouldn't go for it.

Anyway, he has too much on his plate today. He has to play Dominic Thiem for the Roland Garros title. Someone will be a first time grand slam winner and I'm hoping more than anything it will go Sascha's way.

I hear the door open and shortly after, footsteps on the cold morning hardwoods.

"You're great with kids" Sascha kisses my temple.

He takes a seat beside the two of us and smirks at Addie. "Can uncle Sasch have a good luck kiss from my favorite cheerleader?" He taps his cheek. She falls onto his face and we both giggle. "Why thanks you Addie, now I have to win today, right?"

I stare into his eyes, watching his heart grow softer in front of the small child. "You're just as good with kids Sasch" I fold the corners of my lips up and kiss his cheek.

I watch the two of them play together until everyone else wakes up.

After a two hours we make our way to the venue. As the hours dial down to start time I grow more and more nervous.

Soon it is time for me to take my seat in his box, the match should start in ten minutes.

"Good luck, my love. You can do this. I believe in you!" I kiss his lips and pull away as I walk with Irina and Mischa to the players box.

Eve is currently walking around the grounds with Addie and Lövík. It's usually Irina who does that since she gets too nervous to watch her boys play. However, today is different, Alexander Zverev is in a grand slam final, she wouldn't miss this for the world.

We cheer as the players come on to court.

A few minutes of warming up and they start the match. Dominic steps up to serve and after six games my nerves aren't as bad, I focus less on the score and more on the rallies.

In the six game, at 3-3 Sascha hits a clean return winner, Dominic hits the next ball wide, cross court and even double faults. It gives our guy a few break points.

It only takes two before he secures the break and holds serve two more times to win the first set, 6-4. Only two more sets!

The second set relaxes Sascha even more and he gets it quickly, 6-2.

When the third set comes Sascha immediately looks more nervous than the last set. To be fair he is only one set away from reaching his ultimate goals. If he wins one more set today he will be a grand slam champion as well as a first time world number 1 in the rankings.

Unfortunately, nerves seem to get the best of Sascha is the third set and he losses 6-1.

"Come on Sasch!" I clap.

He steps up to serve in the forth set and is back to looking more relaxed. He must have just gotten ahead of his game last set. He will be fine as long as he doesn't think about lifting the trophy.

After an hour long forth set we end up in a tie break.

8-9 Thiem. 9-9. 9-10 Thiem.

"10 All" the umpire announces.

Sascha double faults and my head falls. Thiem has another set point. He dumps it into the net. 11 All.

Thiem thumps a backhand long giving Sascha a championship point.

I can barely watch, my hands are shaking.

Sascha steps up to the line, bouncing the ball, tossing it up, it hits the tape and questionable if it landed in the box or not. Sascha challenges which only adds intensity.

Out by no more than a millimeter. I sigh.

He grabs another ball and tosses it up, smashing it towards Thiem's body, jamming him, so he dumps it into the net.

Without hesitation I jump up cheering, a tear escaping my eye.

Everything he has worked for was for this moment right here. I've never been so proud of him.

He makes his way to the box and we all praise him.

"I love you so much. I've always believed in you!" I stare into his eyes, playing with his hair before smashing my lips on his.

"I love you Aggie" he has never had a bigger smile on his face.

I can't remove the smirk on my face and after the trophy ceremony we all meet him in the locker room. He smiles when we open the door and he sees his parents, Mischa, Eve, Addie, Lövík, Hugo, Jez, and I.

"Aggie I can't think of a better time or place or occasion to do this..." he puts the trophy down, getting down, himself, on one knee, opening a box to expose a shimmering ring. "Aggie will you marry me?" He still grins.

I shake my head eagerly.

He slips the ring on my finger as I kiss him passionately.

This day is far from reality and I've never been happier!

Yay yay yay!!!!!!! They are engaged!!!

Tell me your thoughts. Sascha won a grand slam and got engaged to Aggie all in one day!

I hope you enjoy!
