*a/n: part 6 final
y/l/n = your last name*···
Today was the day of the year 2023. 5 years later since meeting y/s/n as Micha's girlfriend. When he came to you that beautiful morning 3 years ago and asked your opinion on how to propose you screamed from the top of your lungs!
Not less than 2 weeks later he popped the question and she said yes! And now here you are standing in a room in a very expensive chapel, tying Micha's tie which brought you back to Mike's wedding when you had to fix his.
"So today's the day. How are you feeling, mi amor?"
"Nervous. Is it getting hot in here?" He complains, fanning himself.
"Being nervous is normal on a wedding day, especially if it's yours."
"How would you know?"
"I've been to enough to know," you smile up at him before returning your attention to his tie.
"Are you going to be okay?"
You straighten down his tux jacket and sigh deeply, "I'll be okay. It's not like I haven't gone without you before."
"But this is different ma. No more little mama's boy."
"I know. You'll have your own little family now. But you're still gonna visit me during the holidays. Maybe with some grandkids?" You ask slyly as he shakes his head in disbelief. You both break into a laugh, "well... it's time. I'll see you down there kiddo."
"I love you, mom."
"I love you too, sweetie," you say, holding back tears and pecking him on the cheek before you made your departure.
In the main room where the wedding is actually taking place:
You look around and mentally give yourself a high-five for being able to achieve this.
"Hey," down the aisle Mike stood in a basic black tux looking dashingly handsome as always while you stood watching him in a simple beige off the shoulder dress that slimmed down to the floor with white laces from the waist up and etched with silver sparkles.
You merely give him a smile as you walk down the aisle towards him. You stop right in front of him, "hi."
"Looks like the finished product is to your satisfaction?"
"Definitely."
"Do you... um... do you ever wonder--?"
You nod truthfully, "I do. If we never broke up all those decades ago I sometimes do wonder what our wedding would look like," you whisper softly.
The pastor steps up and faces everyone in the room, "could everyone please head to their seats as the bride and groom will be arriving shortly."
You roll your eyes, "I still can't believe you talked me into allowing them to walk each other down the aisle."
