MC2: Last week was such a cliff hanger! And I've been dying to know what will happen for tonight's episode!

MC3: Not just you but I think everyone else that's watching We Got Married is. Right? *turns to MC1*

MC1: Agreed! Tonight is when we'll see how Aya-chan's parents will react to Jesse-kun right?

MC2: Yes and let's cut the wait, and start the VTR!

The camera was still focused on Jesse's nervous face as they waited for the door to be opened. A woman peeked through the semi-transparent glass of the door and Aya quickly waved excitedly. The woman opened the door right away, "AYA!"

"MOM!" Aya hugged her mom as soon as the door was opened.

Aya's mom noticed the cameras and Jesse, "Are we on We Got Married right now?"

"Yep!"

"Oh thank goodness we just cleaned the house yesterday, it's a good thing you came on a Saturday, come in come in," Aya's mom welcomed them inside.

"We're intruding," Jesse and the crew politely entered the house as they left their shoes by the entrance.

"Daddy, Aya's here!" Mom announced as she got up to the main floor. Since the house was a bilevel, the main floor is raised than normal, so when you enter the house, you had to climb a five-or-six-step staircase to reach the main floor. This causes the basement to be not-to-much of a basement since only half of the basement is underground, with big windows, so it didn't feel like a basement at all.

Aya: My mom calls my dad, daddy and then, my dad calls my mom, mommy. It's their endearment, so please don't be confused, hehe!

"Seriously?!" Mr. Kimura quickly rushed to her daughter and embraced her, then giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Hahaha! Dad, let me introduce you first to everyone, well, first, these are the WGM crew," Aya pointed at the staff, whom bowed a bit to Mr. Kimura which Mr. Kimura returned the gesture, then, "last, but not the least, my husband, Lewis Jesse, Jesse, my dad, and my mom,"

"A-ah pleasure to meet you sir, ma'am," Jesse bowed 90 degrees to them.

Mrs. Kimura chuckled, "Don't be too stiff and formal dear, we won't eat you,"

"But we will if you hurt our one and only daughter," Mr. Kimura warned in a joking way, "anyway, have a seat, we'll prepare something for you," he guided everyone to the living room and the dining area, since the whole area was open space.

"What do you want Jesse-kun?" Mrs. Kimura asked.

"Well... something Filipino would be nice, Aya's always bragging to me about how good your foods are and she also told me about your restaurant," Jesse answered as polite as he can.

"Mom, mom can you please cook Adobo? PLEEEAAAASE?" Aya pleaded as she sat at the dining area with Jesse.

Aya: Adobo is a traditional Filipino food. You can use pork, or chicken. The most basic ingredients are soy sauce and vinegar, and the rest is up to the cook. So, it's really easy to cook. I can do it, but my mom's version is just highly addictive.

Mrs. Kimura smiled, "Okay then, I will I will," and went to the kitchen to start cooking.

Mr. Kimura sat on the other side of the table.

MC3: Ooooh, will this be a man-to-man talk?

MC2: Seems like it!

"So, when did you arrive?" Mr. Kimura asked, looking straight at Jesse.

"Uhm, last night sir, around nine in the evening, we went straight to the hotel since everyone is tired," Jesse replied.

Aya smiled and held Jesse's hand that was on the table, "Dad, don't be too serious, you're scaring him, his hand is like cold,"

Mr. Kimura turned to Aya, "I'm not being too serious, Jesse-kun is just being too nervous," then he turned back to Jesse and smiled, "just relax, I don't bite. I watched all We Got Married episodes every free time, and I can see that you really care about her. I was impressed when you waited for her for three hours,"

"R-really sir? Thank you!" Jesse smiled brightly and seemed to relax a bit.

"Yep, so, are you staying at the hotel again tonight or allowed to stay here?"

This time, Aya answered, "Actually, because of tight schedule, we cannot stay here, sorry dad, but you can visit us during out photoshoot, but also, according to our photoshoot, we're free tomorrow til afternoon, how's that?"

"I see, that's okay then, but if there's any changes and you're allowed to spend the night here, you two are both welcome, this is also your house," Mr. Kimura said with a smile. The three talked for a while. It didn't take long for Mrs. Kimura to finish cooking Aya's request.

Few minutes passed, Aya's mom was done cooking her favorite which made Aya extremely excited, "Oh goody! It's been a while since I tasted your cooking mom, aaah, that smell!"

"It really does smell good aunty," Jesse commented as well.

"Wait until you taste it Jesse, you might not want to taste my cooking again," Aya added.

"Eh? No, that'd be impossible,"

Mrs. Kimura chuckled, "Don't worry Jesse-kun, when it comes to Japanese cuisine, Aya is better,"

Jesse smiled and got up from his seat, "I'll help you aunty,"

"Okay, that's good, your height is a big help, the plates are there in the cupboard, as well as the glasses," Mrs. Kimura instructed Jesse as she took the cutleries from the drawer, "if it's okay Jesse-kun, I think my husband placed the place mats up the fridge, could you get it for me?"

"Ah, of course," Jesse reached for the place mates while holding a stack of plates and gave it to Mrs. Kimura.

"Thanks," Mrs. Kimura went to the dining area, followed by Jesse who has the glasses with him as well. The two had the table set up. Mrs. Kimura asked Jesse to just sit down as she served the WGM crew as well.

The four talked whle they were eating. Mr. Kimura actually commented on how they were speaking English the whole time. Jesse and Aya told them that they were challenged by WGM to speak English while they're in Canada, and that whoever uses Japanese the most will

"Oh! So who's winning?" Mr. Kimura asked.

"No one has spoken Japanese so far yet, so we're tie, but I have confidence that I will beat Jesse," Aya proudly replied to her father.
