(A/N): Hello all! Thank you so much for your support whilst writing the last chapter. I apologize for the late update. There was a lot of things happening all at once and I needed to take a break but I'm back now!)

Toruh's POV:"So you kissed him?" Momo said nonchalantly, arms folded in the booth across from me, smiling knowingly.
I sputtered whilst drinking my coffee and it left the back of my throat dry and burning.
"No," I said, grimacing and wiping my mouth with a napkin. "Our lips brushed on accident, that's not a kiss."
"Oh that's BS and you know it!" Momo whisper-shouted at me, sneering from across the table.
"We didn't kiss!" I argued back, leaning over the table a little to get my point across.
Momo sighed and leaned back in her seat, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
"So tell me what happened again, what exactly lead to you being on top of Saiki?"
I felt my cheeks heat up and I crossed my arms. I looked away from Momo's gaze in embarrassment.
"It...wasn't like that." I said under my breath.
She raised her brows at me and held her head in her hand as if to say 'go ahead, talk.'
"I went over to Saiki's place to work on the project. We worked for about 2 hours until everyone left and then it was just Saiki and I. As I was walking out the front door, I missed the last step and began to fall face first into the cement but then Saiki was suddenly in front of me, cushioning my fall..." I trailed off.
I paused and looked up at Momo, she sipped quietly on her drink. "Go on," she said, motioning for me to continue with a graceful wave of her hand.
"I held his face for a moment, to make sure he didn't have any injuries. He sat up suddenly and I lost my balance, but he steadied me by grabbing my hips. In turn I grabbed on to his shoulders to help and it brought our faces closer together. I was going to say 'thanks' but he shifted suddenly and then..." I trailed off again.
"Your lips," Momo raised up her hands and made air quotes with her fingers,"brushed."
"In other words you totally kissed." She said.
I face palmed and sighed in annoyance.
"Y know what?" I began haughtily. "Fine! We kissed! Are you happy now?!" I shouted from across the table.
"Yeah." She began, and took a sip of her coffee. "I am." She said, smiling like a cat who got the cream.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw people sat at tables a few feet away turn towards us.
"Mind yourselves, please." I said to them, and they went back to their own melas and conversations.
I groaned and dug into my school bag to toss some money on the table.
"I'm leaving. I'll catch you later." I said as I grabbed my school bag and made my way out of the caffe.
"Unless Saiki catches you first!" She yelled after me in a know-it-all tone.
I went to turn around so I could shout something back at Momo and give her a piece of my mind, but I ran into somebody as I turned around.
"Shit! I'm sorry-" I started to apologize until I looked up and realized that I'd ran into a familiar face: Saiki himself.
"Oh, Saiki! I didn't know you take this route to school!" I exclaimed, eager to break the silence.
I casted a glance behind Saiki to find Momo, but the spot where she previously sat was empty, and Momo was nowhere to be found.
"Is this place any good? I've never eaten here." Saiki said as he glanced over the menu they had outside.
I was taken back by his question. I wouldn't have pinned Saiki as someone who liked caffe's.
"Oh, yeah, it's pretty good. Momo and I eat breakfast here every couple of weeks. They have a 'happy hour' type thing where it's 'but one, get one free' in the afternoon." I said pointing at the 'Deals and offers' portion of the menu.
Saiki nodded as he continued to stare at the menu in deep thought.
"I'll take you here if you want." I said before I could stop myself.
Saiki looked at me curiously.
I felt my face heat up and I clasped my hands in front of me to steady myself for what I was about to say.
"I-I mean..." I fumbled over my words.
"As a thank you for letting us study at your place. Toritsuka told me that you like sweets, so I figured this would be a good way of saying 'thanks'". I finished only slightly out of breath.
"Yeah, sure. Just let me know when would be best to go." He said nonchalant.
And before I could stop myself, I said "Great so it's a date?"
Silence fell between us. I could've sworn that my heart had stopped beating for a moment because of my slip up.
"I-I mean..." I stuttered over my words and my face heating up.
"That's what Momo and I call it, so I'm used to saying date when we go out! I...I didn't mean..." I trailed off as my brain failed me once more by supplying no words to help save my cause.
"Right," Saiki said. I let out a deep breath of relief, mentally.
"I knew what you meant."
"Oh...good." I say, not really knowing where to go with our conversation.
"May I walk to school with you?" I asked him.
Saiki stares at me in deep thought like I had asked him a question that would decide wether or not the world would implode.
"Sure." He finally says, turning around and starting to walk his path to school.
My face lit up as he turned away, and I smiled at his back.
You're not a bad guy Saiki...I want to get to know you more...

And school is back in session for me and I had an essay to write and just ugh. However I would like to say thanks to those of you who commented telling me to continue the story or hope that I update soon.
