Five - The Ancient's Counsel

As the warp gate opened in the thundering rain Natasha stepped out of it in front of the glistening white temple. After a few minutes Natasha was soaking through and then she ran to the temple doors. As she reached the doors Natasha pushed open the left door and entered the temple. Looking around Natasha saw the large open room that she was in. along the edges of it were large pillars that held up the roof. The building warth warmed Natasha's cold body. "Hello is anyone here?" asked Natasha as she looked around the empty building. The door that Natasha had used then slammed and Natasha looked towards it to notice a man wearing a white hooded cloak standing in front of the door. "You called" said the man walking up to her. "I'm looking for the counsel" the man then nodded. "We have been expecting you, Natasha" said the man. Natasha then frowned at the cloaked man. "How do you know my name?" Natasha asked shocked "From the temple the counsel can see everything and everyone. We know you are not of this world, please follow me" said the man as he walked down one of the corridors to Natasha's left.

While they walked down the corridor Natasha looked at the stunning statues that covered both sides of the corridor. "Where are we going?" asked Natasha. She then stopped suddenly because the man had stopped in front of her. The man then turned to face her. "I am permitted no further, please go to the end of this hallway and there at the end you shall seek the answers of your questions." said the man before he walked back down the corridor. As she looked down the corridor Natasha saw a light blue blur and she then started to walk slowly down the corridor. After a few minutes walking down the corridor Natasha reached a large oval chamber that had five marble chairs on a raised marble platform in the shape of a semi-circle. Natasha then focused on the middle chair that has someone sitting in it wearing a sky blue robe. However she couldn't see the face because the hood completely covered the their head. "We have been waiting for you" said the person. Looking around Natasha could only see the person who was sitting in the middle chair. "You mean you have been waiting for me." Natasha said confused by what the person said. the person then stood up and pulled the back of the robe. As the hood slide of the persons head Natasha saw the womens face. The bottom half of her face was covered by a breathing mask and her eyes made Natasha take a step back. "I am one and many" said the women before her body began to blur. Then four more people appeared . "Who are you? asked Natasha. as the other four people revealed thier faces. "We are the counsel" they all said together. "Why am I here" Natasha said slightly worried. "You are here for us, you are chosen to protect" said the people confusing Natasha. "Protect what?" asked Natasha noticing all the people looking at her. "To protect the chosen ones on their journey to connect the nineteen pieces." said the first women. "The nineteen pieces of what?" Natasha asked. "The Heart Soul of Halo." they said in unison. The women who sat in the middle seat walked over to Natasha and pointed at the badage on Natasha's arm. What do you want with me?" asked Natasha. As Natasha tried to walk away the women grabbed her arm and stopped Natasha from moving. "You are beyond that of a human, you are something of great power, use it well young one." said the women before she let go of Natasha's arm. Natasha then began to run down the corridor that she had used before. After a few minutes of running Natasha reached the entrance hall of the temple and tried to open the doors but they wouldn't budge. "No place like home" said a voice from behind Natasha. She quickly turned around and saw the same man from before. In his hand was a disc that was the same size as a CD. "Let me out now" Natasha demanded. The man then through the disc towards Natasha and she caught it with her left hand and looked at it. "A warp gate, whisper your distination to it and it will take you where ever you want" said the man before he disappeared, leaving Natasha by herself loooking at the disc. She then held it up to her lips."I wish to return home" Natasha whispered. The disc then began to hover and then opened into a red warp gate. Natasha could see her home through the gate and stepped through it.

When the gate opened Natasha found herself in the living room of her house. "Natasha, your safe." said a voice from behind her. As she turned around it was her mother Claire who was standing there. Then another warp gate appeared however this one was different to the one Natasha had just used. This gate was yellow and had sparks of electric surrounding it. It then pulled Claire and Natasha into it and as Demitri came around the corner it dragged him in aswell until they were all in. It then closed.
