KATE'S POV
"You what?" I shriek at Castle.
"Please don't make me repeat myself. I already feel so horrible." He mumbled, and I could see his eyes glistening with tears.
"So you betrayed Meredith with a blonde and impregnanted her, right?" I snap at him.
"Yes. But not on purpose, and it was a random hook-up. I was drunk and didn't know Meredith was pregnant with Alexis at the time."
"People don't change, Richard. We have seen that often enough." Now tears were even gleaming in my eyes.
"There always is an exception to a rule; we have learnt that, too!" Castle's voice was so quiet but so defined and percise I strongly believed that if it could cut the tension like a knife. But who was I kidding? His look and the way he said his word couldn't change how I saw him.
"If that's all you have to say to yourself, then I think we should part our ways."
"What? No, please, Kate! It was so long ago and..." My dissapointed frown covered in angry glistening tears made him stop talking. He didn't look away though, yet, and continued staring into my eyes, begging me to take him back, but we both knew I couldn't.
"When did you plan to tell me?" I ask after seconds passed. His silence answered what I had feared so badly: never.
"Just leave." My voice pleads, and my fingers already fly to my ring, only to quickly turn it around, handing it back to Castle. Was I overreacting, I ask myself one last time while I glance into Rick's Face. I try not to cry but I could already feel tears trinkeling down my cheeks.
"Plea-", "NO!" I shout at him, and he reluctantly stands up, shoulders slumbed down. He flashes me one last look before finally walking out of my life.
Breath in, Beckett. Don't make a show infront of the Department. At least I was in a closed room, and not in the hallway.
Knock-Knock. My body froze while my thoughts were doubling with worry.
"Yes?"
"It's Ryan.."
"And Espo!" His partner interruptes him rudely but with playfull intentions.
"And?" I question annoyed.
"Well... Jandro's brother confirmed Jandro statement about where he was at the time of the murder." Esposito continued, but I could here Ryan's slap on his shoulder even through the door.
"Are you okay?" Ryan asks more carefully and softer. You could really tell that he was a loving father.
"Yeah," I sniff quietly, and after seconds of silence I add: "We still have a murder to solve. What are you waiting for?"
I storm through the door, and into the kitchen. I definitly needed a coffee now. But..
Oh.
His coffee machine. Here.
"I don't care!" I hiss at the coffee machine, and anybody seeing, and hearing, me now must have thought I was mental but Castle did make everyone turn crazy.
Well, f*ck him. I really didn't care about him anymore. But who was I kidding? When I get home, I will defintily just collapse in bed and cry. Cry, cry and cry.

"Ryan; Espo." I call into the deserted hallways. Lunch time. I shake my head sadly, but still smiling, just thinking of the huge waiting line at Dunkin' Donuts.
"Yeah?" Their heads pop up from the tables like little meerkats.
"Espo; can you call Jandro's Brother, please? I want him here. And Jandro, too," Esposito nods and turns to face his phone, "Ryan.. Please check his finances." The brunett also nods, and I am off to worry about the case.
Sorry this is so short; I hope I can update as soon as possible. Please vote and comment.
