I remember talking to Ash and Kelly about how this town was changes, but I guess most smaller towns do. "Do you remember when Independent used to be on the other side of town?" Ash asked me and I slowly nodded. "Did you girls hear about St Could's?" Kelly asked us as the two of us looked at him with confusion. "St Cloud's is going out of business." He said to us. "No, that can't happen. It won't. I won't let it." I said loudly to him. "Well, huh, it isn't up to us." I turned away from Kelly's face android face Ethan. "When did you get here?" Ash asked him. "Not long." Ethan said to Ash, before he turned to us. I turned and walked away from him, leaving Ash and Kelly for a moment as I could hear them following me. "So, how long is St Could's staying open?" Ash asked Kelly. "I think until the 30th." he told us. "We should go. For one last hurrah." I said. "I'll drive." Kelly said and we got in his car.

We pulled up to the old build, which for the most part looked the same. The same dark tone and the same neon sign hanging in the window. The only thing that was different for our childhood, there was no cars around. I mean it makes sense if it closing, but it made no sense to the little kid in me. "You think the place was closed." Ash said, leaning forward in her seat. "I think it is, maybe we should just leave." Kelly said. I looked over at him and smirked. "Don't forget you light, wusspuss." I said to him. Ash let out a snort as Kelly pushed me in my seat,a shut up followed suit. I grabbed my bag and walked into the restaurant. My hand rested on the door and looked in for a moment. The old glass panes still showing the light green of the walls. I turned to see Kelly really taking a light and I tried not to chuckle at him, but it didn't work well. Ash walked up to me smiled, ready for this.

I pushed the door open and looked around room. All the tables still had their light brown table spread set out. The chairs were down in the front of the room, but the farther the eyes got to back, the chairs were up. "Wow, they are really going out, aren't they?" Ash asked, but I could tell she already knew. "Maybe, we should-" "No, came on. I want to seek my teeth once more into some of the dishes." I said to them. I walked around looking for a waiter or waitress. 'There's seems to be no one." I muttered. "Maybe we should just go." Kelly said to us. "Stop being a broken record." Ash said to him. "Not you too." he said to her. I watched her for moment as she rang the bell on the desk. The ring echoed throw out the restaurant, but that was it. We all stood there waiting for something to happen and as we did the lights went out. The whole room was dark, except for the light shining thru the door.

I could hear Kelly scream before I could hear laughter. " I tried to tell you." Kelly said, which had to be to me. I let out a sigh as the laughter when on. "Ethan, turn the light back on. I know that it's you." I said loudly. The laughter stop before a sigh could be heard. The light turned on and there stood Ethan. "Ethan, don't mess around like that. Someone-" "Ya, Someone could have gotten hurt, but mister scaredy pants over here was so worth it." Ethan said, before he walked past us. "Where are you going?" Ash asked him. "Where I alway went when I was here." he said and walked off, down the hall and turned right into the old game room. "Well. That was pleasant." I said. "Pleasant? Pleasant? Oh no. That- ahh. You know what? I'm going to wait in the car." Kelly said and walked to the door. I shrugged and when to the kitchen, maybe someone was in there.

I slowly walked to the door and knocked, but there was an answer. I tried again to only have nothing. I pushed the door open, as the darkness hit my face and I starred as the truth hit me. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. There was spaces in the counters I'm guessing where the ovens were. I looked down at a rat ran past me and throw my feet. I put my foot down and pushed it back in. I closed the door and turned to the rest of the place. I ran over to Ash and pulled to the door. "Come on. Come on. Kelly had the right idea." I said to her. I pulled her to the door. I looked up to see Kelly standing there. "Kelly, I thought you left." I said to him. "I did, but I thought you two were right behind me." he said to me. "What about Ethan?" She asked me. I stopped and looked at her. "Shoot. I'll go get him." I said to her. "Ethan!... Nothing let's go. " Kelly said with fearful tone. "Come on Kelly, man up. It's not that bad." Ash said to him. I turned and speed walked down to Ethan.

I looked around to room, only to find black screens. Somewhere tipped over, other cracked or chipped. "Ethan." I said to only hear giggling. I looked around the room as the giggle when on, getting louder. I stepped over cords as glass crushed under my shoes. "Ethan." I said again as I could see him standing there. He was leaning on an old standing machine. I walked up to him and looked at the screen. "Ethan, What are you doing?" I asked him. "Beating my old high score." he said, not even looking at me. "Sure, beat it on a pitch black screen." I said to him. "No, the bunny's there. Look." he said to me. "Ethan, all I see is a crack." I said to him. "Look harder." I heard a voice say. I turned to see a girl standing there. Her dark hair covering her eye as a smile was painted across her face. She had to be nine or so. Her hair that wasn't in her face was down, past her shoulders, as she wore a long dark red dress. I got Ethan's arm and pulled him away from the game. "Come on Ethan, it's time to order." I said to him. He turned to me and nodded, I smile on his face. "I miss coming to this place. I used to love it here." he said to me. I nodded at him as we walked away from the game. I could hear the sound of an 8-bit character dying, before the words game over when off.

I walked Ethan to the door as Ash and Kelly looked up at us. Ethan looked around for a moment, before he realized we weren't ordering. He let out a sigh as we walked to the door. "Where do you think you're going?" I turned to conter to see a girl with long hair, it was pulled into a ponytail, her light blue almost white eyes staring at us. She wear the old black St Cloud's Restaurant uniform. The plans to match it, her name tag said Sarah. She walked around to counter and stood there in front of us. "Wouldn't you like something to eat?" She asked us, but there was something about her voice. "No, ma. We were just leaving." I said to her. "You came here for food did you not." she said as if she already knew. "No, we were leaving." Kelly said to her. "I'd love just one bit of those spiced up frise." Ash said and this small smile pulled on Sarah's lips. "Ya, and I'd love a St Could slater." Ethan said to her. "Right this way." Sarah said to us.
