Prologue

Zak's POV- 2:00am

I was sleeping when I heard the wails coming from the crib in the corner. I looked up and saw a demon with red eyes leaning over the crib. I,"LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!" I grabbed the bag I had packed since this happened a lot now. I grabbed the pacifier that I normally cleanse every night before bed. I hand it to her along with her blankly that gets clean only in holy water. I sighed as it left. I grabbed my phone and called Aaron. He was the only house that had a crib at that was close by. I,"Hey." Aaron,"Yo man. Why you calling at 2:00am?" I,"The demon we felt from the previous investigation came back and scared her. I was wondering if we could come to your house?" Aaron was up really fast. Aaron,"Definitely man. I'll get the sheets and everything that is strictly cleaned with holy water. I'll see you in a few. I'm going to call Billy and Jay to. Nick is already here because him and V are fighting. I'll wake him up." I,"Thanks Man." I gathered the car-seat that had a cross on it. I touched holy water to it. I grabbed the holy water to make sure Aaron can do it to me. I picked up the little girl that was barely 3 months old. I smiled as she looked up at me sucking the pacifier. I placed her in her car seat and grabbed our bags. I didn't wanna be home. I grabbed Gracie as well and we all headed to Aaron's house. I arrived to see all the lights on and three other cars in the driveway instead of Aaron's. I opened the door and allowed Gracie to run into the house instead she started growling at what was standing by the fence of Aaron's property. I,"What is it girl?" Nick,"Hey." I,"Grab my baby and get her inside. Nick did as so. Aaron came out as he saw Gracie's action he grabbed the camera and the same demon is seen on the camera. Aaron,"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" I,"The saw entity trying to attack my daughter as she sleep." I grabbed Gracie as the entity left. Aaron,"I caught it on camera." I,"We'll have to start a file about everything that is effecting her." Aaron and I walked to the house smiling at the little bundle of joy in the little swing that faced Nick. Nick smiled as he grabbed his guitar and sung a song that was trying to convince Jessica boys are a big no no. I watched as my little girl sleeped off what just happened. I looked at Aaron. Aaron,"The room is set up. Jay's finishing up cleansing the room and everything that you brought. I even did a quick wash with her wubby in only holy water. Billy is taking all her clothes and putting them into the washer. I see Nick is making sure she is sound asleep. Nick," Vic found out she was pregnant and lost the baby." I felt really bad for Nick. Nick,"I left to get away for a little cause I don't know what to do. I barely know how to be an uncle to a child that isn't mine. Plus at the moment we're taking the break until Jessica's three years old. I don't how to function without this. I know we're gonna do local lockdowns with this cutie but what if she has a gift that we don't know about?" I,"You wanna take her to a physic to see what gifts she possess?" Nick,"Yeah." I,"We'll go see the normal one tomorrow." I walked up to my room that was my babies room to. Aaron,"You want my room since it's smaller and she'll be in close proximity and since this house is cleanse and everything I'll give it to you to make sure that you are not affected by anything." I smiled as I saw the demon look at the little girl. I,"YOU CAN'T TOUCH HER!" Jay and Billy brought the crib that Aaron bought straight after Lucy told us she was pregnant. Aaron instead that Jessica had a crib in every house. I smiled as Nick brought the little girl up who was still asleep. I laughed as Jessica gripped her wubby. Jay,"So Nick, Billy, and I are going to be sleeping in one of the guest rooms unless you want one of us here with you." I,"How about Nick and Jay sleep on the floor while Aaron and Billy take the guest room. I would prefer having someone else in the room. I rather feel safe that their is someone else here to protect my daughter." Nick positioned his bed directly next to Jessica's crib. I,"I see someone's worst at being a protective bear over a cub then me." Nick,"Billy and Jay positioned the crib next to the bed so I positioned myself between the window and my munchkin." Jay positioned himself near the closet in case something came from that direction. I,"Did you also set up the cameras in the room to make sure that nothing happens to us?" Nick,"Yep." I smiled as everyone knew my baby was my first option. I woke up the next day to see Nick already gone same with Jay. I looked into the crib to not see my baby. I started freaking out. I heard giggling and baby talk make it's way to the room. I sighed as I knew the others had her. I walked out and saw the most beautiful sight looking back at me. Nick was sitting crissed cross applesauce on the floor with a little girl in her swing being feed from her bottle. Billy, Jay, and Aaron were all sitting around her as she was the center of attention. Jessica was enjoying it. I walked over to the group as I saw Aaron's camera open and a video being filmed. Jay,"Hey sleeping beauty wakes up. I'm surprised you didn't wake up to the wailed from your kid. She has a set of lungs." I,"That's my daughter. We'll figure something out. What did you put her in?" Aaron,"Hey you allowed me to pick out what Jessica had keeped here. So I choose her outfit which happened to be a star wars onesie."

Jessica's 13 birthday

I woke up and instantly grabbed my phone.  It was my daughter's 13 birthday. I smiled as I was able to be home to spend this special day with her. I laughed and got up. Nick called me. Nick,"Morning bud. What time do you want us to meet you up at the place?" I,"Between 12 and 1 pm. I'm going to wake her up. It's a tradition to eat breakfast and watch our show." Nick," Okay. Aaron said he, Billy, and Jason will be arriving at 11 to go with you." I,"Thanks for the heads up Nick." I hung up and walked out of my room. I walked to my daughters room. I walked in to see her sleeping. I walked over and brushed her hair out of her face. I take her to get her hair cut a lot cause she lives with her grandmother while I'm on the road. I head a car pull into our driveway. I quickly but quietly headed to the door. I opened it to see my crew. Nick,"SURPRISE!" I,"Shhhh. Did you bring the cupcake?" Aaron nodded and help up the chocolate cupcake that was for the birthday girl. I,"What about the cake?" Nick picked it up from the back. I smiled as they headed into the house. Nick carrying the cake while Aaron carried the cupcake and a camera. Billy and Jayson headed to the kitchen to get started on breakfast. Nick's wife,Veronique , brought in a ton of presents and headed to the table with them. She kissed Nick goodbye and left. I smiled as I saw the Aaron nodded his head signaling that we were recording. I,"Good morning. I know the first question coming to your head is why are you all in pjs and who's holding the camera. We'll we are having a tripod holding the camera. It's my daughter's 13th birthday and we normally leave and have an investigation but this year I'm able to spend it home so we decided to show you what we do normally during her birthday. So follow us as we head on a birthday tradition." Billy stopped the camera. Aaron turned on his camera while I grabbed a lighter. Nick,"So right now we have Billy and Jayson cooking breakfast for the birthday girl while Zak is lighting the candles on the cupcake and the cake. Billy and Jayson are going to bring the presents in cause their making muffins and the muffins are in the oven. I think we're waiting on two more people right Zak?" I"Actually 3. Lexi and Zan stayed the night remember." As I said that I heard a knock on the door. Aaron went to open it. Aaron,"Hey guys. Zak it's Kevin, Noah, and Louis." I,"Allow them to come in." Louis saw the camera. Louis,"You recording for the show?" I,"Yep. Lexi and Zander are waking up now." Lexi and Zander came out to the living room. I,"We all ready?" All,"Yep." We are all in our pajamas. We headed into the room that held my baby girl. I counted on my fingers from 3 to 1. I started to sing.

Jessica's POV-

Voice,"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Jessica. Happy Birthday to you." I woke up at the start of the song I smiled as my Uncle Nick held the cake out before Uncle Aaron held the camera. I blew out the candles on both items. Dad pulled my hair back as Uncle Jayson took out the camera as Zander took out the candle. I prepared for Uncle Aaron and the cupcake in my face. I was meet with a small cake actually. I gasped and jumped up.  I grabbed some and chased my uncle and got him. My dad came and we got him as well as Nick. Jayson got everything on camera. Dad,"Ahhh the start of another awesome birthday." I smiled as I grabbed a towel and wiped the cake off Aaron did the same thing. Dad,"Happy Birthday princess. What did you wish for?" I,"To finally become part of the team." Dad sighed. Dad,"I'll make you a promise in two years time I'll let you join the team. That will mean you will have your permit and by the time will be back you'll have enough experience to get your lisences." I sighed. I,"We'll see." Dad smiled as the camera stopped. We sat to eat breakfast. After breakfast we grabbed the birthday tradition and headed to the living room. Nick grabbed the camera and started recording as we made the  living into the tradition. Dad,"Right now the kids and Aaron are setting up the living room to have a show marathon. We aren't going anywhere for a few hours seeing as its barely 7:00am. We are going to show you how pitch black it's going to get during this. We're going to have two cameras going. One facing the tv showing you what we're watching and the one showing our reactions. Billy is setting up the cameras as Jayson just came out of the kitchen with the snacks to put them on our snack table. Here we go." I sat down on the couch between dad and Uncle Nick while Uncle Aaron and Uncle Billy sat on either of side them. Louis, Lexi, Zander, Kevin, Noah, and Uncle Jayson all sat down on the mattress on the floor. We all sat down and grabbed some kind of snack. We sat down while my Uncle Aaron drew the black curtains all around us. Dad played the first episode of their latest season. I knew it was going to be awesome as every other season.

Nobody's POV-

Zak watched as himself just got a call from his daughter who was sitting beside him regarding her parent teacher conference which was coming up. Unexplained male voice,".....Jessica...." Jessica jumped because she heard that voice not that long ago. Zak,"Are you okay baby?" Jessica,"I heard that same voice not that long ago." Zak looked at Aaron and Nick. Nick held his goddaughter as he she felt whatever attached itself to her dad and came home with him.
