As Cynthia and I stood in Hank's office, his assistant brought in all of the boxes that was taken from my childhood home, and now they were here. Our names were written on the ones that held the items our mother left us, and both of our names were written on tape and stuck to a tote, which I knew held pictures.
"So, he can't take any of this away? He can't threaten us with jail time because we have these?" Cynthia asked, as I knelt down and opened the tote and pulled out a few pictures from the top.
"No, he can't. And hopefully this will help Serena leave him." Hank spoke, and I smiled as I stood up and handed Cynthia a picture took shortly after I moved back home. She grinned as she ran her fingers over it gently.
"Mom looked so happy. And of course there is a little bit of Dad's finger over the camera." Cynthia laughed, and I smiled.
"As usual." I laughed. I looked over at my sister, and she quickly wiped a tear from her cheek.
"We already lost our mother, and this better bring Dad back. He should start working again. He should drop Serena and get with someone, several years in the future, who Mom would want him to really be with." Cynthia whispered, before leaning over and hugging me tightly.

"When do you plan on getting married?" John Munch asked, as Elliot and I sat and ate dinner with him. He's known me for so long, and even if I can't talk to my Dad, I'd like to talk to his best friend and a man who has been like an uncle to me all of these years.
"Soon. We are waiting a bit until we start classes at Hudson University. It'll be small, only people we really like are going to be invited." I spoke, and he laughed softly.
"Good." He spoke, before taking a drink from his glass.
We sat in silence for a bit, before Elliot spoke.
"Detective Munch, would be willing to walk Olivia down the aisle?" Elliot asked, and I blushed deeply. I wanted to ask John to walk me down the aisle, but I was scared that he'd say no. He doesn't really have to best record when it comes to marriage, but he's still family to Cynthia, my father, and myself.
"Why me? Isn't Don doing that? What about your father, Elliot?" John questioned quickly, and I swallowed hard.
"You don't have to if you don't want to. I just don't have anyone else to walk me down, and Elliot's father doesn't really want to." I frowned. I awkwardly looked down at my hands, as Elliot gently rubbed my back.
"Yeah, as long as I don't have to wear my uniform. Can I just wear what I wear to work everyday?" He asked, and I looked up at him and smiled.
"Of course! Thanks so much!"

Elliot and I drove past my old house to get to his parents' house, but as we came to a stop at the intersection, I saw that my father was sitting on the front steps, a bottle wrapped in a paper bag held to his lips.
"El, go back around." I spoke, and he looked over at me with wide eyes.
"What?"
"Go back. Please." I replied quickly. He nodded as he quickly went back around so he was back to where we were near my house, and I told him to pull over. I looked over at my father as my fiance looked over at me.
"Are you gonna go talk to him?" He asked, and I frowned.
"How do I approach him? I got Hank involved..." I trailed off.
"Just go talk to him. Get him to put the bottle down." He spoke, before leaning over and kissing my cheek gently.
I nodded slowly, before opening the door and getting out. I headed across the street, and as I started up the path, my father noticed me.
"Liv?" He questioned slowly.
"Hey, Dad. What are you doing?" I asked, and he frowned slowly.
"Serena left me." He spoke, and my eyes went wide.
"What?" I questioned.
"She left me because I didn't disown you completely."
"You didn't talk to me, Dad. Why did she really break up with you? Huh?" I mused, getting annoyed of the fact he was beating around the bush.
"I broke up with her, Liv. I broke up with her when I found your mother's diary from when we were younger. She wrote so much about how much she loved me, and I just tossed our whole marriage away when I started dating Serena. Barely a year after she died, I had moved on. I shouldn't have." He whispered, before he went to take another drink. I grabbed the bottle from him and sat it to the side. He looked at me as tears ran down his cheeks.
"I was so stupid, Olivia." He cried, as he buried his head in his hands. His whole body shook as he cried, something that I rarely see.
"Are you living here again?" I asked, and he nodded.
"Yeah." He replied, as he wiped tears from his cheeks. He is so freaking drunk.
"How about I come and help clean up the place. Make it different? Huh? Paint the outside, maybe change up the carpet." I spoke, and he eyed me.
"Would you and Cynthia be willing to come home?" He asked, and I swallowed hard.
I didn't want to be on this topic. I didn't want to come home here yet.
"I'm getting married, Dad." I spoke, and he swallowed hard.
"You are?" He asked, and I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I am. Elliot proposed when we were in California."
"Good." He replied, as he stood and grabbed the bottle from where I had sat it.
"Dad, p-"
"I still haven't forgiven you for causing Serena and me to break up." He spoke, suddenly.
"Dad!" I exclaimed, and he slammed the door and locked it. I stood and watched as the lights in the house shut off and my confusion grew.
I looked around for a moment, before walking back to the car. As I climbed in, Elliot looked at me.
"What happened?" He questioned.
"They broke up, but El, he hasn't forgiven me for causing their break up..." I trailed off slowly.
"Liv-"
"Just drive, please. I don't want to be here anymore. Never again..." I spoke, completely shocked.
