Being a twin has many ups and many downs: you could pretend to be each other, but people might get you confused, you would have someone to go threw life at the same time as you, but you also have to share a lot, you would normally get a friend, but sometimes people would say 'the prettier twin' which would not make sense if they were identical since the things that make them look different would be there because of the way they act.
Jo was a single mum having to care for twins, which is a lot more difficult then it sounds, so she invited round her friend, Emily. These two had been doing everything together in school but separated roughly when Jo turned twenty (three years ago).
Emily would now come round everyday for lunch and help out with the babies, and would stay longer when Jo had to go out to work. Sometimes Mike (Em's boyfriend) would come and stay for lunch but would leave early to go to work.
Five years later and you could defiantly tell that Klaudia and Eliza were not identical twins. Kay had her father's dark brown, thick, wavy hair which went down to about her hips (unlike her father's which was cut short but extremely curly) and her mother's bold blue eyes which were the only thing that she shared with her sister, Liz, who had thin, blond, shoulder length hair, her mother's freckles, and pale skin (Kay had mid-toned skin with few freckles), sadly neither of them had their mothers dead-streight, light-brown hair which reached just under her shoulders.
The twins shared a small room in the atic (which was the only free room in the house when they were born) yet the fairy lights and cushions made it all seem more comforting and cozy.
Once the twins turned ten, you could tell that Kay had preferred a small group of friends where everyone was included, yet Liz had her rather large group of dangers crouding around her and her bubble-gum-chewing best friend Jessica. Even though they were only in year five, Elli had managed to get herself and Jess a boyfriend each who just happened to be two of the most popular boys in school.
Most people didn't know they were sistes, no matter twins. This didn't seem to be a problem though, and they both caught bus 19 and walked home together with Jess and Abbie (Kay's friend).
