Chapter 6.

After about a week of being with Ashton, things were going really well. We had spent most of the week together when he was able to and to be honest we were just like another normal family. I didn't think I would be able to forgive him this quickly but my love for him had always been strong and to see how upset and distraught he was about what he did, made me want to forgive him more.

Today I was meeting up with Ashton; we were having a picnic in the apartment; I know it sounds weird but it was raining so we set it up in the apartment and Ash was bringing his band mates to join in. We both thought it was time for Darcey to finally meet her 'Uncles' and they hadn't seen me in ages so it'll be nice to see them again. Ashley and I moved the sofas to the side of the room and placed most of the food on the coffee table before pushing that back underneath the TV on the wall. With the help of Darcey, we then laid down some blankets and cushions and placed a pile of DVD's by the side of the table. That's when I heard the door bell go. Darcey ran to the door and when I went round the corner, I saw her jumping to try and reach the handle. "Sweetie your too short!" She crossed her arms in a huff as I swung the door back and was greeted by 4 extremely good-looking boys.

"DADDY!" Darcey shouted jumping into his arms.

"Oww. What did I tell you about shouting at people?"

"Sowwy."

"Come in." Ashton walked in first, giving a hug to Ashley whilst holding Darcey. Luke was next. He gave me a hug before saying hi to Ashley and wondering into the lounge after Ashton. Calum was next.

"It's been a while since I saw you. You haven't changed at all." He pulled you in for a hug before Michael joined in as while.

"Same here." He said. You shut the door and went into the lounge with the others.

"You've done this up well." Luke commented.

"Thanks."

We all settled down and began eating various foods whilst having the Lego Movie on. Luke and Ashley were sat next to each other, Calum next to Luke, Michael next to Calum and Ashton next to him. I was sat next to Ashton, his arm around me, tracing circles on my bare arm, whilst his other arm draped around Darcey who was partly on his lap and partly on mine. I did the same with my arm, our fingers meeting in the middle and intertwining with his.

Soon enough, we were all singing 'Everything Is Awesome' together along with the film, Darcey laughing at how bad we were. "She's got your laugh." I shouted so Ashton could hear. He looked over at me and smiled.

"Yeah, yeah she has." You held each other's gaze for a while before pulling away and getting back to watching the movie. Even though, you and Ashton were now kind of together, it was still pretty awkward between you two but to be honest, when you were together before, it was awkward, especially at the beginning but it was a cute awkward. Darcey started to fidget so I knew that she needed the toilet.

"Come on Darc, bathroom." She hopped off and I walked after her as we made our way up to the toilet. Whilst Darcey was on the potty, I stood by the door with my back facing her as she wanted her privacy; yeah I know; then Ashton appeared from the stairs. "Hey."

"Hey.  I thought I would come join in with this learning experience." I chuckled.

"Not that much to learn really."

"Oh well let's do something else then." He pressed me up against the wall, a hand on the left side of my head and his right on my hip before he kissed me. With so much passion and desperation, it felt like a long awaited kiss. Like he'd wanted to do this for a while.
