They said slender is it
But I was fat
With double waist
And chubby cheeks
And jiggling hips. The parties with tight fitting dresses
And cute boys in tuxedos
I watched by my window as they went
With wide smiles and slim figures
I watched as they shopped
And wore crop tops
With navel piercing
Because they had a flat tummy.By my window
One tear escaped
And a whimper followedAnd before I knew it the dam broke
And I couldn't stop
No mascara to ruin
Because you don't paint a sketch
No, you only paint complete beautiful pictures.
The voices whispered"you'll never belong
Unless you burn the calories."But if only
If only the calories were a little bit less stubborn.
If only the pizza and ice-cream were a little bit less tempting. And then I cried once more and cried yet again.
