THE PAIN OF A BROKEN HEART 💔

She never wanted him to leave

Until now she still grieves.

Her eyes carry an ocean of sorrow

and her insolent heart is stuck to stubbornness

and doesn't want to let him go.

She keeps telling herself that he'll return

to her and beg for forgiveness.

Little does she know that he has moved on

and forgotten about her.

All she wanted was him, he who broke her trust

and left her drowning in bitter-sweet memories.

Maybe when he's torn apart,

he'll run to her begging at her doorstep 

and say he'll shower her with all the love

she'll ever have.

It's gonna be then she'll say that

she's not his for him to care for.

Maybe it'll be too much for her to let go 

but it's a wiser decision.

And it doesn't matter what happens,

because, in the end, 

the pain of a broken heart can't be endured.
