6. A New Day

Remus:

The next morning when Remus woke up, he was lad to see that the other boys were fast asleep. He quickly jumped out of bed, longing to go back into it for the soft sheets, and rummaged through is second hand trunk. He immediately found his school robes and ran off into the bathroom, He was trying his best to move as quickly as possible for he didn't want one of the other boys to walk i on him and see the ugly scars that ran across his body. After stepping into the shower, Remus reached out and grabbed the shower handle, only to quickly pull away. How could he have not noticed it was silver? He looked down to his hand and wanted to vomit, there was a large and bleeding blister that Remus thought was disgusting. He then carefully reached out to the silver shower handle with a wash cloth on his hand. 

Remus felt the cold water hit his skin, and he quickly reached out to the shower handle(With the wash cloth) and turned on the hot water. He relaxed in the heat occasionally wincing from the water painfully hitting his fresh burn. He showered as quickly as possible andjumped out of the shower. He quickly put on his school robes and stumbled out of the bathroom. He kept on tripping over and over again from his robes being to big. He rushed into the common room for the sound of the bathroom door opening was making Sirius stir.

Sirius:

As Sirius slowly lifted his head off from his pillow, he saw the door to their dorm close. With a glance to his right he saw that Lupin had left his bed. Sirius slowly got out of bed and went to shower. He washed his hair(Using a bit to much conditioner) and spent at least 20 minutes in the mirror only trying to put his hair into a pony tail.

Sirius walked out the bathroom and shook James awake.
"Wake up or were gonna be late"
"Ieabcikd 5 more minutesss mommm"James said, pulling his blankets over his head.
"5 more minutes and you'll be late?"
"Who cares.."
"Mcgonagal"
"IM UP!" James yelled, shooting out of bed and running to his trunk to get his school robes. Sirius chuckled as he saw James bolt to the bathroom. He walked up to he neighboring bed only to be greeted by a loud snore. He sighed and shook Peter.
"Wakes Wakey" More snoring.
"Wake up..."Snores...
"WAKE UP!' Snores! Sirius was starting to give up when when he got an idea. He leaned down to Peter's ear to say something,
"Wake up my Petey Wetey"
"AHHHHHHH!" Peter screamed, running out of bed, getting his school robes, and running into the bathroom. Sirius fell onto the flooor laughing, the only funnier thing than this is when he saw his mother running around, hair on fire.  At least this time, he wouldn't be sent to the...dark. He hated it. Yes, blacks shouldn't scared of something silly like the dark but there was something about it that just...unnerved Sirius. HE shook it off and went out into the griffin door common room.

On one of the many couches, he saw REmus reading a book. He kept on looking out the window as it the thing that would save his life was out there.Sirius couldn't even begin to comprehend what was going through his head.

Remus:

Remus kept on looking up from his textbook(Not that he needed to reread it for the 4th time), begging for the sun to finish rising so he get off to breakfast. (He also couldn't stand the thought of the moon being anywhere near for obvious reasons. He just couldn't bring himself to think of that). To Remus's satisfaction, the sun rose within the next few minutes, making it an appropriate time to head to breakfast.

Remus stewed into the great hall, still in awe with it's beauty. When he decided to look up and see what the ceiling looked like, he saw the sky. He knew right away that there wasn't a large hole in the roof but and enchanted ceiling cause what about rain. Remus went to the right of the room to the griffin door table, where a few other students were sitting. Remus saw the fiery haired girl from yesterday and decided to sit next to her. Not to talk or anything just so he wouldn't be alone, though he thought he deserve red to be alone while Hogwarts as a pay off for his lycanthropy.  When he sat down next to her, she looked at him with bright green eyes and smiled. No one had ever done that to him before except for James's mom. He looked down at his feet, not wanting to look her in the eye anymore.

"I'm Lily Evans. What's your name?' She asked. Remus was surprised tat she was even talking to him.
"R-Remus Lupin" He mumbled, still looking down at his feet.
"I remember you! I'm sorry those stupid boys were tormenting you yesterday, I cant believe them!" Lily said, in a frustrated tone. Remus looked to her surprised, why was she defending him like this? Why would she do this is he's done nothing for her?
"I g-guess your r-right..." Remus said, smiling at her. Just then the rest hall doors slammed open as most of the student flooded into the hall. They all sat down at their corresponding tables except one Hufflepuff who accidentally sat down with the raven claws cause in's giggles to erupt in the hall, a few laughs coming from the Slytherins. Right as the hall calmed down and the Hufflepuff moved to the Hufflepuff table, a large breakfast appeared on the tables. It was all so heavy that the table creaked from the weight.

Remus carefully put food into his plate, trying his best to avoid touching any of the silver that the food was on. He carefully put the food into his mouth, trying his best to not touch his plate(Which is surprisingly hard). Just as he was doing this he dropped his spoon when he felt a tap on the back. He quickly turned around to see Mcgonagal.
"Your timetable Mr.Lupin" She said, handing him the sheet of parchment. He quickly grabbed it and ent back to his food. He looked down at the sheet of parchment, determined to the best he can in all his classes.
