Katia waited for Liam to answer the phone.  She knew he was going to be at the studio but she really wanted to talk to him.  When he didn't answer, she decided to go there instead.  She left the sunroom and grabbed her purse.  She kissed Ahmir and Destiny and told them she'd see them later.  She went to the kitchen and gave Zayn another hug and then also gave her sister a giant hug.

"I'm still mad at you," she said.

"Get over it," Kaia said with a giggle.  "Where are you going?"

"I need to go talk to Liam," she said.  "I'll call you tomorrow."

"Okay," Kaia said. "Let me know what else we need to do or what I can do for you."

"I will," she said and as she was leaving glanced back at her sister who was now in her husband's arms.  She hoped and prayed that she would have that with Liam.  She loved him and she just really needed to make sure that things were okay with them.  She hated that these insecurities that still plagued her and her mind.  She could see how in love Kaia was with Zayn and she didn't think she had any tendencies towards Liam.  But Katia also knew how much her sister missed their friendship.

She drove to the studio and saw his car there.  She was waved through the gate and parked her car.  Even after being in England for a while now, she was still surprised that she could find her way around.  She headed inside and signed herself in and the receptionist told her which studio he was in.  She knocked quietly on the door and then stepped inside.  She saw him sitting at the control panel with a notebook in his hand.

Liam heard the door open and he turned his chair to see who it was.  "Hey," he said with a smile.  "What are you doing here?" He asked and set the notebook aside and patted his lap.

Katia moved and sat down on his lap.  "I...I just wanted to come to see you before I headed home.  Are you sure you still want to marry me under this rushed circumstance?" Katia said as she fidgeted.

He smiled at her and pulled her even closer. "Something happen today?"

"Kaia invited Marian over to the house to look at dresses." She sighed heavily.  "I know I haven't known Marian as long as the rest of you but seeing her today, how frail she has become since I first met her. The fiery pistol who won't take any shit is gone."

She took his hands in hers. "It worries me she doesn't have much time left. That she is actually going to die, we won't get the Hail Mary everyone has been talking about."

Liam sighed heavily and looked up at her. "We have to keep faith, love," he said gently. "Does it look like she's getting weaker physically?" He asked.

"Yes and Kaia said that Harry is hovering over her every move. Every time I see her, she looks dramatically different. It makes the idea of throwing a wedding ridiculous."

"Katia," He said gently. "If there's nothing we can do don't you think we can make her last days as happy as we can?" He asked. "And if having our wedding moved up and in her backyard will make her happy, it isn't ridiculous." He said. "Harry called me the other day and said she's been snapping at him a lot lately and he doesn't know what to do."

"She needs space," Katia said. "The one thing I have learned about Marian is that she doesn't like it when Harry hovers." She continued on.  "I guess if you say so. It's just so surreal to think we will have a wedding and a funeral in the same year."

"Let's not focus on the latter," he said and wiped away her tears that had now fallen down her cheeks. "I told him he should know better than to hover," he said. "He's terrified.  He's completely freaking out about her dying.  When she had cancer it was one thing, but this is something totally different and the thought of her dying this time is terrifying."
