As I ran my hood flew back. I was running late yet again. I had my eyes set for the academy so I really wasn't watching where I was going and ran right face first into a purple wolf girl who was in the middle of a duel. She growled and snapped at me. "Bloody hell watch where you're going I'm in the middle of a duel. Well actually I tribute two monsters and summon Darkstorm dragon attacking your life points directly and winning. Now get kid." I gulped as the kid ran off scared. "Hey, Mobius to fox brat. Because you can't see where you're going I challenge you to a duel." I looked at her and sighed. "How about this. Can we wait until later I have to hurry to class. I'm really late." She growled. "Fine but I'll wait until class ends and I'll vouch for your tardiness but you owe me that duel." I nodded. "Deal." We ran for the academy and the girl kept her promise and told my teacher what was going on. He seemed to agree and let me off the hook.
Two hours later class ends and as expected she's waiting outside for me. She rose her duel disks and I rose mine. "Let's duel!" We both shout and people come to watch. We both drew our five cards. I let her go first. "I Place one card face down then play my spell trade in so I can discard one level 8 monster and draw 2 cards." She drew two more like she said. "I will play Flamvell Guard in defense position and end my turn." I nodded and draw. "I will play spirit reaper in attack position and since spirit reaper can't be taken out by monster cards my overall life points are saved." She smirks as I end my turn and she draws. She held and pointed at me ending her turn. I drew but none of my cards were a match for her Flamvell Guard's defense points. "I'll place one card face down in defense position and end my turn." I say as she draws. "I'll play Mirage dragon in attack position and attack your facedown." I growled as she takes out my monster ending her turn. "I draw and I'll tribute my spirit reaper for Gaia the fierce knight taking out your Flamvell Guard. With that I'll end my turn." She smiles and draws. "You're good kid. I'll give you that. I'm Mitsuki by the way but I will say this I will win this duel. I end my turn." She gave me a determined look as I smirk. "Names Colton. I draw. I play the red eyes black chick to tribute summon in red eyes zombie dragon. I'll take down your mirage dragon with Gaia and attack you directly with my red eyes for 2400 bringing you down to 5600 life points." She growled. "I draw. I'll end my turn." I was shocked but drew a card. "I place one card face down and with both Gaia and red eyes I attack you directly. Leaving you with 900 life points. I'll end my turn." She drew and smirked. "I play maiden with eyes of blue in defense position and end my turn." I gasp and realized that if I attack her maiden it can summon in blue eyes in her place if she has one. "I draw. I play pot of greed to draw two cards.now I tribute a level 8 monster from my hand to play black luster ritual so I can summon in black luster soldier. Now gaia attack her maiden." Her blue eyes comes out. "You fell for my trap Mitsuki I attack with luster soldier taking them both out and I'll attack with red eyes to win this duel." She looked shocked. "I lost to a fox brat like you?!" I walk over and put out my hand. "Good match but you can't beat me with a blue eyes switch not while I have this." I held up my sword and heart locket. She was shocked. "I can see you have one two it's your gem isn't it I could feel you trying to make this a shadow game duel but it won't work on me. So how about it we friends?" I offered my hand once more for a shake. She started to laugh and shook my hand. "You are a clever kid ya know but congrats on being the first to beat me in duel. Also yeah I guess we can hang around each other kid." We both laugh and walk off.
