Finding Out

Hey guys welcome to my first story! The idea came from @dragon_dobre_army! Her story 'Dyrus' gave the inspiration for this book! Hope ya like it! Here is chapter 1!

Darius POV

I'm on my phone playing around on the Internet when I hear my older brother pulling up to the garage now. "Lucas! Marcus! Come help with the groceries!" He yells at my twin younger brothers. They go and help him as I'm laying on the beanbag. They come in with all the groceries and I get up and help put it away when I smell something off, "Lucas?" "Yeah?" He comes in after grabbing the last bit of groceries, "Did you go hunting?" "Yeah why?" "That blood scent is making me feel sick." My brothers look at me in confusion, "What why? I thought you loved the scent of delicious blood." I shake my head, "No I do but this scent is not okay." I go sit down covering my eyes as I'm scared on the reaction. Here's some quick background information, my brothers are all vampires while I'm a hybrid, part werewolf and part vampire. Hybrids are extremely rare. My whole family are vampires and I'm the only hybrid. Hybrids have a orange eye color, vampires have red eyes and werewolves have yellow eyes. I keep my eyes covered when Cyrus comes to me, oh and did I forget to mention I have a huge crush on my own brother. I know what you are probably thinking 'Gross! Disgusting! Weird!' It was never my intention to fall in love with him, I just did. Well back to the drama. Cyrus comes closer to me, "Dari you okay?" He reaches for my hand but I push him away, "I'm fine." "Obviously not come on Dari please what's wrong?" I groan and stand up and run to my room keeping my eyes closed the whole time so they don't see it. I flop on my bed and groan as a headache starts pounding on my forehead.

Cyrus POV

I hear the door close as Lucas and Marcus share looks, "What do you think is wrong with him?" Lucas asks me, "I don't know but I intend to find out." They nod and start making dinner when I go to Darius's room and knock on the door, there was no answer. "Darius?" There still isn't an answer so I slowly open the door to see him sprawled over his bed with his eyes closed. I go and sit by him and play with his hair a little, "Darius?" I ask softly and he opens his eyes a little and I see them as orange. Wait what?! "Cyrus?" "Dari your eyes! They are orange."

Darius POV

"Your eyes! They are orange!" My eyes widen as I shut them tightly, "Dari, your a hybrid?" "Just get away!" I yell at him turning my body away from him. "Hey Dari it's okay man calm down." "Leave me alone." "No Dari please. Why didn't you tell us?" " I thought y'all would turn me away. Look it doesn't matter okay? Just drop it!" He sits up and I put my hand gently on his hand, "Dude I would never turn you away. I love you too much." Wait was that supposed to be as lover love or brother's love. He smiles and softly kisses my neck and sucks on my sweet spot, "I was talking about lover love." My eyes flutter close as I suppress a moan that's dying to escape. He lays me down then gets on top of me straddling me. He kisses my lips so softly, "Dari?" He breaks the kiss as we both need air. "Yeah?" "Don't ever think I would turn you away." I nod and he kisses my forehead gently as I smile. We get under the covers and I put my head on his head slowly falling asleep after that.
