5 - Ruby Jane

The night when the moon is on its fullest, shinning brightly in everyone's faces is the night where white she-wolves transform by nature on its true form, whether they like it or not. 

They say its a way to regain their full energy as its lightness shine through its white fur. They say it will only stop when you have completely received the fullness of your power. But all were just theories as nobody knows as to why is this happening. Why? Because I am the first white she-wolf in the history of the south wing of the Korean forest

Over the years I have never failed hiding and leaving the normal world to go back to my home, the Black Heart pack, every full moon. And every full moon is the happiest day of my month. No one can beat the feeling of finally being truly home. 

"Ruby Jane." A sweet voice called me as I was staring at the sky outside the pack looking at the moon waiting for it to fully glow. 

Our beloved luna smiled sweetly to me as she carefully put a comfortable black coat on my shoulders. "You might catch a cold." She said smiling down at me. I smiled back at her feeling like a completely different person as I feel her presence. 

"Do you know," She said still smiling. "This coat is the last thing the late Alpha bought."

I blinked at her as the memories of our soft and powerful Alpha came back to me. I sighed as I held back the tears remembering how he was mercilessly killed by the strongest and most powerful alpha somewhere in the north. I do not know which pack. Nor which Alpha. But there's one thing I know, I'll kill him with my own hands. 

I shook my head and looked at the late Alpha's beautiful luna and tried to smile. "Then you should have this, Luna." I murmured quietly looking straight to her shimmering eyes. 

She lightly shook her head as she tugged my hair in my ears. "He bought it for you, Ruby Jane." She said as she kissed my forehead.  "His one and only daughter." She whispered enough for me to hear and went inside the pack house. 

Rush of emotions are coming unto me as I look up in the sky thinking how my life has been. Our late Alpha. The way he cares and loves his pack members. The way he was both caring and strong. The way he brought peace to the south forest. The way he took care of me as--

"Where are you?" I jumped out of fear when I heard a deep masculine voice transmitting through mindlink snapping me out of my thoughts. My heart started beating fast amd loud feeling like he was just a few inches away from me. 

And honestly, I missed him and his voice. But I am definitely 999999999% upset. It has been THREE LONG WEEKS since we met and this is the first time ever that he decided to communicate! And it srsly pisses me off. Like how dare he stole my first kiss then completely ignore me right after. And to top it all off we can just freely talk without ANYONE KNOWING THROUGH MINDLINK CAUSE WE ARE OBV WOLVES. But nah. He didn't do it and I DO NOT HAVE THE GUTS TO DO IT MYSELF 🙄

"Jennie, where are you?" He said snapping me out of my long thoughts. I have decided,  I don't wanna talk. 

"You lost your chance to care 3 weeks ago." I snapped and rolled my eyes. 

"Jennie Ki-" I cut him off and tried to block him from mindlinking me.

I looked at the moon as its slowly turning into a big full one. "Do you think you can just simply block me?!" He said in a very low tone. "Jennie Kim, I'll ask you once again or else you'll leave me with no choice but to ask your members and managers who were just a few tables away from mine." He continually said as I roll my eyes again. "Now, miss kim. Where the hell are you?"

I rolled my eyes again and decided to answer. I don't like my members being disturbed by someone who isn't worth it. "Chilling at my pack." I just plainly said and blocked him off. That kind of block he won't easily barge in.
