"Princess!"

Shhhhh...

"Princess!!"

"Princess!"

"What..??" I open my eyes slowly a bit annoyed

"You were up all night again weren't you!" My caretaker asks.

I sit up and look at her. "Er.. no.."

She just scowls at me and tells me to get up and do my daily routines. Then come down for breakfast.

Melinda has been my caretaker when I was little, although she can be hot headed she's always been there for me even more than my parents and I love her for that.

Sighing, I slowly get out of my bed, and I look around my room that feels so empty.

I go to do my morning routines and walk down the long stairs to have breakfast with... my parents.

"Alice." My mother says.

"Yes..?"

"Today we will be having many princes come to the castle, and you will select one to become your future husband."

I look away. "Yes... mother."

I would LOVE to protest however that never gets me far and she doesn't care about my feelings anyways.

'I just wish I could escape this... prison'

I excuse myself after finishing and go to my room, there are maids already waiting to help me fit into a gown fit to meet many royals.

They pick out a flattering gown that goes well with my long golden hair, and my golden eyes.

Time skip . . . .

"M'lady.." an older man comes to kiss my hand followed by many other princes.

"Why hello." A prince with a charming smile says, he tenderly takes my hand and plants a kiss upon it.

I blush. This guy is different from the others.. I can just feel it, I.. actually want to get to know him.

After all the greetings the prince I liked came up to me.

"Hello princess Alice" he smiled.

"Hello" I look away slight tint of pink on my cheeks.

"My name is Alexander, Do you remember me? I'm your old friend, we used to play in the rose garden together years ago." He reminds me.

I think for a bit as realization hits me.

"Alexander...? Oh yes! I can't believe it's you, I'd wondered where you had gone, I'm so happy to see you again!"

"And me as well." He smiles.

The ceremony is over and my mother asks me which prince.

I pick the man I'd loved all these years. The one I had almost completely forgot about, after becoming so lonely.

"Alexander." I smile.

Me and Alexander are to be married and I am going to his kingdom by ship tonight, i am so excited.

I know I hated my life here but I think it could be different now, I love Alexander, I always have, and I will come to love him even more.

My maid help me get everything packed, and I bring some things I will need on the ship. The ship is large and there are many guards Incase of pirates, or anything else that could happen.
