shower - jaehyun

Kim Aeri sat on her bed waiting for the usual door to open from the other side of the wall.

She has woken up to listen to him. Aeri knew the words by now, and wondered it she could sing with him.

"i'm just gonna do it, then i'm moving out of here" Aeri whispered to herself.

She listens as Jaehyun turns on the shower. Aeri waits until he begins to sing.

"So whenever you ask me again how I feel"

"shit.. i missed it"

Aeri braces herself and inhales.

"please remember"

"remember~" Aeri misses it once again and has one more chance.She takes one big deep breath.

"my answer is you" Aeri sang. She squeezes her eyes shut, scared of what would happen next. Aeri almost regrets it when she realises there was silence, and she listens to the shower turn off and the door close.

a few minutes later..

Aeri's eyes open wide as she hears someone knock on her door.

She walks slowly towards the door.

"it's sunday it's not the delivery man, maybe it's taeyong"-

"hi uhm," Jung Jaehyun was standing in front of her. "were you uhh the person who uhm this is so awkward who sang that line?"

Aeri nods slowly and smiles shyly.

"you're uhm pretty good y'know?" Jaehyun blushes, and Aeri does too.

"you're better, Jaehyun" Aeri giggles shyly and fiddles with her fingers. Jaehyun scratches his nape and adores how cute Aeri is.

"d-do you wanna come in?" Aeri asks and Jaehyun nods stepping inside her apartment.

"so, how did you know those words?", Aeri questions Jaehyun. "it's sad actually, my girlfriend said those words when left me, we were high school sweethearts, but in the end i was not the man she would fall in love with" Jaehyun smiles sadly.

Aeri feels a sort of coincidence and sympathy towards him. "well... my boyfriend said t-those words too" Aeri said quietly.

Jaehyun looks at her and rubs her shoulder. "it's seems like we're both in the same situation" He whispers and Aeri buries her head into his chest, which surprises Jaehyun.

Jaehyun who is a bit flustered, manages to rub her back and rests his chin on her head.

"So whenever you ask me again how I feel"

Jaehyun sings and Aeri lifts her head. She inhales and joins in with him.

"please remember, my answer is you".
