MADDIE FROWNED AS SHE watched Elena wake up. Rebekah had the decency to get her a bottle of whiskey so that was stationed in Maddie's hand as Elena opened her eyes and groaned as she sat up. "Oh goody, your awake." Maddie sighed taking a swing of the alcohol and Elena looked at her. "Katherine?" She asked and Maddie rolled her eyes. "Ouch. It's been three days and you forget the difference between my beautiful smart and powerful self and the first Petrova Slut." Maddie said with a sigh as she took a sip of her whiskey.

"Maddie? Aren't you suppose to be in Beacon Hills?" Elena asked and Maddie looked at her. "Aren't you suppose to be in Damon's pants?" Maddie shot back and Elena rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, you snapped my neck and dragged me here." Elena snapped and Maddie rolled her eyes.

"Nope. I found you in the hall with one of your biggest fans standing over you. Rebekah then dragged me here and.." Maddie stopped as she saw April walked over. "The Assembly's over." She informed and Maddie shrugged taking another big swig. "What the hell is going on?" Elena asked but April ignored her. "The school will be empty soon." April told her and Maddie grinned, knowing what the next question will be.

"How many times did you compel me?" April asked and Maddie let out a small chuckle as she saw Elena open her mouth to say something. "Don't lie to her, Elena." Maddie said and April nodded. "Rebekah says you lie." April added and Elena shook her head.

"Rebekah isn't who you think she is, April." Elena said and Maddie laughed even more as she watched this unfold. "What? She's not a thousand year old original vampire and Maddie's not the Petrova Hybrid?" April asked crossing her arms leaving Elena speechless. "Hey, leave me out of this!" Maddie argued but grinned anyhow.

"Listen, we can figure this out, but we have to get out of here." Elena said grabbing April and Maddie, dragging them through the library only to come face to face with Rebekah. "Sorry. Not aloud." Rebekah told Elena and Maddie snickered as Rebekah walked right up to Elena and looked her in the eye. "Why don't you take a seat. The rest of the class will be here shortly." Rebekah compelled and Elena gulped before Maddie's phone went off. "Hold up, it's a friend." Maddie said with a sigh before answering.

"Where are you guys and where is Lydia?" Maddie heard Stiles and sighed. "Carol Lockwood's funeral. Also known as Lydia's Aunt. Why? Has anything happened? Is everyone okay? What about Boyd and Cora?" Maddie questioned with concern and Elena looked at her confused. She had never shown this much concern for anyone but Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy and Tyler and maybe Kol. Elena never thought Maddie would make friend because she was such a closed off person. It sort of hurt Elena because it seemed like Maddie had moved on from Damon and even her, so fast.

"Stiles I swear to god. Is Allison alright?" Maddie asked and Elena glared at that name. Allison Argent, the girl who stole her sister from her. Elena didn't like Allison and that was because Allison was closer to Maddie than she was and that pissed her off. Elena stole Maddie's phone while she was visiting. She called Allison and pretended to be her sister, snapping insults about her and her family. That was why Allison cut off all contact with Maddie.
