It was a sunday-Jovial and bright,
The sun streamed its rays that flickered its light-
Eyes of mine with subtle its dreams,
Looked over the pane, greeted nature over beam.
As the birds that chirped, life that unfolded-
Vision found clearance in vibrant its cliches.
I saw-she stood apast the street,
Turned back, against to abhore the heat-
Half her body wrapped by the pole,
And the other half stood visible,I wished for the whole-
Cheeks of cream,hair that flew,
Legs slim,breasts puffed-it was all I knew-
She gazed at my pane, then twitched, looked out-
I felt deep,I felt hard,I loved her-no doubt.
Stashed my pillow,threw the sheet,
Jumped from bed,in attempt to meet,
Down I ran,crossed the road-
'Hi',I said.
Rued my try with vague her silence,
Amiss was things,I guessed things wrong-
She walked on,I watched on,
I followed her back-
Wherefore she ventured-to figure her stack.
Atlast she turned and smiled with pause,
She said,'I'm Helen,
I was ditched,for no cause.
I wander to seem like a vagabond strayed-
To rest my heart-its all dismayed!
Oh!peace-I beg,for the squander done-
Go away boy-God bless his son.'
I felt a rush,it puzzled my mind-
Figuring it out,I walked behind,
How simply change comes,How life gets paused,
How people we trust, cheat and surpass-
Deep in thougts I reached my place,
Where the morn smiled on and day showed its face.
A sunday-so jovial and bright,
Smile hides pains, and darkness the light.
