I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I picked up my white iPhone and looked at the caller ID. It was Gabe, my step brother.

"Hello?" I asked, yawning.

" Hey sleepy head!" Gabe said, he sounded wide awake. "The guys and I just rolled into town last night, get dressed and come on over, I miss you!"

"Ah, fine okay" I said laughing. I hung up, stretched, and swung my legs over the bed.

I'd always been a fairly petite girl. I'm about 5'6, most of that height being in my legs. I've been dancing since I was four, so I can thank my 18 years of dancing for my trim and fit body. I have long, light golden blonde hair that reaches the middle of my back, and big grey eyes that sometimes look light blue.

Oh, and about the phone call? My step brother is Gabe Barham, the drummer for the punk-rock band Sleeping With Sirens. My dad married his mom when he was six and I was five, and we've been inseparable since. (Well, unless hes on tour that is.)

I took a shower, put on jean shorts and a grey lace spagehtti strap cami, and my lucky French amulet necklace. I then did my makeup, and put my lace-up leather ankle boots on. I was downstairs eating an apple when my phone rang. Again, it was Gabe.

"Hey!" I answered happily. I set my apple down on a plate and walked over to the island in the kitchen, sitting down so I could pay better attention to what Gabe was saying.

"Hey sis!" he said. "So this probably won't come as a shock, but all the guys are over and we wanted to go Go-Kart racing. You in?" I could tell he was smiling.

"Hell yeah! I exclaimed. "I need to do something exciting, ever since you left on tour dad has been boring me to tears!' I said with a giggle. I loved my Dad, but he wasn't really someone I could do crazy, fun things with like I always did with Gabe.

"Good." he said mischievously. " 'Cause someone wants to see you....Ow!" I heard Gabe get punched in the arm. I giggled.

The 'someone' he was referring to was Kellin Quinn. When Gabe joined Sleeping With Sirens, Kellin and I flirted all the time, and he became one of my closest friends. We stopped talking quite a bit once the band got busy touring, and then when he met his old girlfriend, Nikki, things changed even more. They broke up a couple months ago, and now the only time I hear from Kellin is when Gabe calls every few days to see how I am and give me updates on their tour. I had to admit, I was pretty excited to see Kellin, and apparently the feeling was mutual.

I grabbed my sunglasses, keys, and bag and walked down the driveway. I got into the black range rover that my dad had got me for my 21st birthday and drove to the house Gabe lived in when he was here at home in Michigan.

When I got to the house and walked up to the porch, I could hear the guys shouting and laughing. I chuckled to myself and rang the bell.

After a few minutes, the door opened to reveal a smiling Jesse, who proceeded to give me the biggest bear hug I had ever gotten.

"Hey man! Paws off my little sister!" Gabe smiled at me and hugged me tight, kissing my forehead. I walked into the living room and saw Justin, Jack, and Kellin sitting cross legged on the carpet, playing a hard-core four way racing game. The fourth car, which I assumed was Jesse's, was stuck in a mud pit on the side of the road.

"Dammit!" Jesse exclaimed, "Who messed with my car? I was winning!"

Kellin turned around and shot Jesse a mischevious grin. "Hey dude, you should have been paying attention." he laughed, "its not my fault you decided to get up to open the door for Rebe-" He turned around and looked at me. A cute, shy smile crept across his face "Hey, Rebecca." He said.

I laughed, "C'mon, Kellin! You know everyone calls me Becky." I said with a smile, "I guess it has been awhile since I've seen you though."

He laughed and got up, letting his virtual car veer off the road and crash into a tree.

"Yes! Finally!" shouted Jack. "I've been waiting for that to happen the entire game!"

"You're such a dork, Jack." Kellin said with a chuckle. He walked over to me with a loving look in his eyes. I could feel myself blushing as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug. I buried my face in his neck and enjoyed the moment. I didn't realized how badly I missed him until I I felt him sigh and hug my tighter. After about five good minutes, he pulled away and looked deep into my eyes, like he was in a trance. He let his hands slip away from my waist and looked at Gabe. "You ready bro?" he asked, turning to the other guys too.

"Yeah!" Jesse and Justin said at the same time. Kellin grabbed the keys, and we all walked outside to his Escalade. He got in the drivers side, I got the passenger seat, and Jack, Gabe, Jesse and Justin all piled into the back. Kellin turned the radio on and "La La" by The Cab came blasting through the speakers. Kellin looked over and gave me a mischievous, knowing smile, and I remembered the time about six months ago when he and I had made out in his car after a concert with this song playing. I blushed and laughed a little bit, remembering every detail. I felt Kellin slowly slide his hand over to mine so our thumbs were touching, and electricity rushed through me. I looked straight ahead and smiled the whole way to the Go-Kart track.
