Birthday Surprise! [For KenaShadows Birthday]

For KenaShadows... Cin-sissy, hope you have a great B*Day! ^_^ This is just something short and completely random that I wanted to do. For anyone else reading, this features two major OC's from TFAS - Keira and Ami. It also features Cin and her OC, Layla (who was briefly in TFAS). I'm also in here, too! xD Enjoy~!

"Do we have the right cookies?" Came a loud reply in a supermarket aisle.

A disgruntled tanned young woman scowled at the bright-eyed, red-haired girl beside her. "Yes, we already went over everything. Honestly, Keira..." The Egyptian woman sighed heavily and rubbed a hand through her short black and red hair. The two had been at the Supermarket for a good two hours now, and she was sick of staring at nothing but food.

"I just want to make sure we have everything for Desty-senpai to make for Cin-chan!" Keira pouted at her darker half before pointing her index finger straight into Ami's cheek. "You can be such a meanie..."

Ami could feel the tick mark on her head just from that. "Kei, if you know what's best for you you'll stop what you're doing..." The ravenette was really having to restrain herself.

"No."

Ami sighed then, she should have known. A strong hand plucked the offending finger away and Ami grasped Keira's hand while giving the shorter girl a good thumping against the head. "C'mon, let's go."

The red-head just grinned and tugged Ami closer to the filled shopping buggy. "Okay," she spoke before diving in to sit amongst the groceries within the large basket (fortunately not squishing anything). She then threw her arm out in front of her and pointed toward the registers in the front of the store. "Full speed ahead!" And the happy girl giggled.

Ami just shook her head, a fond smile lighting her elegant face. "Just don't come crying to me when you get your butt stuck in that thing."

"How many cups of milk was it again?" A calm voice asked as a young woman with dark pink-red hair stirred the contents in the bright green mixing bowl. The woman had pale skin and bangs framing her face, with her long curly hair up in a bun. Her green eyes (that were framed by black glasses) watched the contents come to an even mush. She was a little shorter than the other young woman in the room, and she was wearing a pink cupcake apron over casual clothes.

"Two cups." A soft voice replied, belonging to a silver-haired (with gold highlights) beauty with onyx eyes. She, too, was wearing an apron, only it was darker and with a kitty-cat on it. Her long hair was pushed back into a ponytail as she diced chicken. She was the birthday girl's older sister, Layla.

"Thanks," Destiny said with a smile to the girl helping her. She took the offered cups of milk and poured them into the batter. She had sent Keira and Ami to get more groceries while her and Layla worked on what they had.

It was their housemate's, Cin's, birthday today, and the ravenette was attending a club meeting for a few hours and so the group of four decided to spend that time prepping for a birthday surprise. Destiny and Layla worked best in the kitchen, so that's why they stayed behind to work. Keira liked to shop, but with Ami with her, the darker girl should keep the lighter in check...

At least I hope so... Destiny thought to herself in slight worry. She poured the mix into the pan and put it in the preheated oven. After doing so, she checked on how the other girl was doing and smiled when she saw that Layla was almost done with the boiling rice and was currently cooking the potatoes.
