~ Chapter 6~ To Flirt or Not to Flirt
" Did ya get my coffee?" Lily asked coming into the room.
' Yeah. Why couldn't you get them?' I passed her a cup, I had drank mine on the way and some of Lily's.
" 'Cuz I was busy and you needed to wake up." She replied sipping hers.
' Well then. Anyways guess who I saw in the coffee shop?' I signed turning on the T.V..
" Who?" She asked looking at me
expectantly.
' Louis.' Lily was drinking her coffee and almost spit it out.
" Nuh uh!" She exclaimed. I nodded smirking at her reaction.
' Do you dare doubt me?' I signed looking insulted or at least faking.
" Well...no. So what did he say?" She asked going back to drinking.
' Not much. We texted to communicate so here. I'm to lazy to tell you.' I passed her my phone and her coffee was forgotten. I
tried getting her attention but she just slapped my hands away.
After reading my texts she handed me the phone. She looked for her coffee which I had in my hands.
" Kat?" She said sternly. I looked up innocently and waved. She just rolled her eyes.
" I don't care about the coffee but he wanted to see you again!" She exclaimed almost dropping MY coffee. I gave her a dirty look.
' Yeah and?' I signed not getting it.
" He might like you..." Lily replied in a sing songy manner. I snorted.
' Sure sure.' I finished the coffee and we just sat there. Until Lily just had to know every single detail of my encounter with Louis I ignored her until she threatened my skateboard and headphones. I
reluctantly complied and recounted my story.
" You were flirting!" I raised my
eyebrows at this crazy girl. I shook my head in both disbelief and rejecting the idea.
" Don't believe me then." She huffed.
' I won't.' I smiled cheekily when I got hit with a pillow.
" Hey don't you have work two hours ago?" Lily asked.
' Nope. Holiday or something.' I replied.
" Kat?" Lily asked warily which made me tense. I nodded my head for her to continue.
" Do you think you'll ever talk?" I sighed. I should have known this was the question.
' I don't know Lil I don't know.'
