"Are you okay?" Kobayakawa asked after she handed her draft.

"Hmmm??"

"You've been silent for a while"

"I'm always silent"

"Maybe it's just my imagination. By the way, the company is thinking of having you release a physical book of your first manga. The president though that even though the manga is about to come to an end he feels like it's still incomplete so when you to write an uncut book version" she head to her computer, after putting a USB drive she started copying some of her files

"Here"

"This??"

"The draft for the book, I already scanned some possible illustration"

"You had a..."

"Under the Moonlight was originally a book, but when I passed it to some publishing house it was rejected, so I tried turning it into a manga before shelving it forever"

"You probably brought your manuscript in the publishing house, anyway I'll hand it over to the president" he was about to turn back when he stopped "Sensei, I have no idea what's bothering you but, cheer up" he smiled before leaving.

"Let me help you with that"

"N-no need I can handle it myself"

"You can't even see where you're going already" before Meirin could say anything Aoi had already taken half of her load and place it on the table where she's waiting.

"You're creeping me out" she mouthed to Aoi who just gave her an intimidating stare "Meirin" she held Meirin's hand before giving Aoi a gloating look. "Sit beside me"

"Aren't you two sitting too close?" Aoi sat opposite them

"Nope, for Rin to be this close to me is a blessing in itself" Meirin enthusiastically said while hugging her arm making Aoi's expression turn dark "But it would be good if I could see you smile one day Rin"

"Maybe someday" she gave her a pat on the head.

"So this is where you are" looking up she saw Raijin walking towards their direction. "I've been looking for you all over"

"Why—uhh" she look at the grinning Aoi and the startled Meirin while she's being dragged away by Raijin "You! where are you taking me?"

"To my office" she had no choice but to just follow.

Sitting on the sofa she observe Raijin as he seems to be taking something from below his desk. She lean her chin on her right palm while watching Raijin busy himself. She'd been secretly loving him for more than a millennia but it seems her love can never come into fruition, being in an unrequited love is truly a hurtful thing, he now understood with Sierre had felt back then when he decided to just sacrifice himself for Jin. Maybe meeting Raijin as a mortal doesn't necessarily mean that she could have a chance at love, maybe it's a sign that she should give up.

"What are you spacing out for?" she touch her forehead when he flicked it. "Here" she held the paper bag bearing DOLCE and look at him in surprise. "I told that I'll treat you"

"Eh, but didn't you used that as an excuse to be with Kana" Raijin stiffened for a moment but she just ignored him as she peer in the paper bag.

"I heard that you've been helping your class representative in your play"
