(Y/n) POV

Down. Down. Down. That's where it all goes. Down. No one likes it because it hurts them. Weather its falling down, or burning down, That's my job. At least, that's how I see it, anyway. As someone who was created with an unfortunate ability to set anything ablaze with just a single touch, literally, it was only natural to think that, right?

The flame was blue and weak. It danced wildly on my fingertips. Quickly, as if trying to crush it, I clamped my hand closed in a fist. I hated my curse. I sat up on my bed, carefully, not to catch the thin blanket on fire. Today will be the day. The day that I leave everything behind. I stood up and looked at Gadget, my dog. Well, he is more like a small wolf, but he acts like a dog.

Gadge isnt mine, though, he just followes me everywhere. I don't remember being born, just made. The house I first stayed in caught fire and I remember running away. In the woods is where I first met Gadge. I have never needed to hold, pet, or touch him, which was perfect. I never liked being without him.

I walked out the doorless room and into a half burnt hallway. The abandoned house I have been staying in since the day I ran away was surprisingly still intact, which I am glad about, but now, its time to leave. But you dont think I'm just going to walk out the door, do you? No, I'm getting rid of the tracks I left. I chuckled darkly as I dragged my flaming fingers on the wall as I walked out with Gadge. Eventually, I was walking away from my shelter, ashes falling from the heavens. I didn't know where I was going, but I was going, so that's something, right?
