I ran as fast as my legs would take me, my heart pounding against my chest as my bare feet repeatedly thuded on the cold grass. I whipped my head around so I could glance behind me, my long, chocolate brown hair flying around me and partialy obsuring my view. I could finally see the rows of trees looming in front of me, so I pick up speed, running faster and faster, ignoring my burning muscles screaming in protest.

"You can't run from me Bella, I WILL get you" his voice drifts from close behind me, soft and rough at the same time.

Shit, I think to myself, he's going to catch me.

The front line of the forest is 100m ahead.

My muscles ache and my lungs are screaming but I run faster and faster

I scream as thick, tan arms wrap around my waist lifting me from the ground. But my screams quickly turn to giggles as I'm set on my feet and his hands move to my sides, tickling me until I'm gasping for breath.

"Jake. Jacob. Stop. Please" I squeal in between breaths.

The torture finally stops and I turn to face the pursuer. Coming face to face with a bare broad chest, averting my gaze up to his handsome face.

Cropped brown hair, beautiful brown eyes, high cheek bones, long lashes and soft full lips that softly meet mine.

I reach my arms around his neck and kiss him back for a few seconds before pulling back to look into the beautiful face of my boyfriend Jacob Black.

It's official. I, Isabella Marie Swan, am the luckiest girl on earth.
