Papyrus POV

I freze. Undyne and Dr. Alphys do the same, although they snap out of it quickly. Dr. Alphys looks back down at the tablet, still trying to figure out what's wrong so she could try to fix it. Meanwhile, Undyne is next to Sans trying to uh.... 'Wake him up'
"Sans? SANS! WAKE UP YOU BONEHEAD!"
She said, shaking him. Dr. Alphys looks at her, panicking.
"U-UNDYNE PUT HIM DOWN YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE!!!"
Undyne puts him down. I just stand there. Frozen. I can't move, or speak. Is this really happening? Is my brother really... Dead? My thoughts run wild. Everything happening around me turns to white noise. Then suddenly, the monitor starts beeping again. Quicker than the last time. I get snapped back to reality by Sans screaming all of a sudden. He sat up quickly and started gasping, and that turning to coughing.
"H-he's having a panick attack!!!"
Dr. Alphys yelled.
"Papyrus! I need you to try and calm Sans down. But you need to stay calm yourself or you could make it worse."
I take a deep breath and walk over to Sans. I try to remain calm like Dr. Alphys told me to. The last thing I want is to make it worse right now. I kneel down next to him and place my hand on his shoulder.
"Sans... can you hear me?"
He doesn't respond. But I can tell that he heard me by the expression on his face. I try again.
"Sans... look at me..."
It takes a moment, but he eventually processes what I've said and looks at me. The coughing hasn't died down yet.
"Sans... can you take a deep breath?"
With a bit of difficulty, Sans manages to take a deep breath. The coughing stopped but he's still gasping a bit.
"Good. Now try taking another one"
With a little less difficulty, he takes another one. I get him to take a few more until his breath is steadier and he's calmed down a bit. I pull him into a hug, which he gladly accepts.
"Sans... are you okay?"
I already know he's obviously not, but I ask anyway. He doesn't say anything. I ask again.
"Brother. Please answer me... are you okay."
He sighs and finally sais...
"I am now... Thanks bro..."
I smile when my brother finally sais something.
"Any time brother!"
Sans pulls out of the hug to look at his surroundings.
"Uhh... why are we in Alphys' lab."
"Ah! Yes! You were going out to see the human Frisk when you passed out the second you stepped out the door! The I, The Great Papyrus took you to the brilliant Dr. Alphys to get checked up!"
Sans takes a minute to process what I said. He suddenly grunts and puts his hand on his forehead.
"My head is pounding."
"Ah... yes... when you fell you also... damaged your skull... badly..."
"Oh... How uh... how badly..."
Dr. Alphys comes in from the other room holding something. She awnsers Sans' question.
"Um... I-I don't think you'd want to see it"
Sans looks over at her
"Oh. Hey Alphys."
"H-hello sans. Good to see you're b-better"
She hands sans some sort of medication with some water.
"H-here. This should help with the p-pain."
Sans holds it in his hand and looks at it.
"Pills?"
"Um... Y-yeah... Your b-body won't allow healing magic to enter it. S-so you're gonna have to use the pills for now."
"Oh...okay"
Sans takes the pills and drinks some of the water.
"So S-Sans... If you're feeling up to it, I need to ask you a few q-questions. To help see what's wr-wrong."
Sans looks at me and I nod. He looks back at Dr. Alphys and sighs.
"Sure. Go ahead."
