Taffy's outfit 5 spaces

The sun peeked up from behind the horizon, its golden light sneaking through the snow white curtains of the skeleton hybrid's room. Taffy squinted as the sun's light shone on his face, rubbing his sockets as he rose from the bed, dainty sock clad feet landing on the plush fake lavender fur rung. His ears twitched as they brushed against the baby pink canopy as he slid his body out of his bed, he still had a few minutes before his alarm went off, so he turned it off early and fixed his bed, rearranging the soft baby blue pillows and cute stuffies that adorned his bed. Smiling as he smoothed out the yellow star and blue comforter, heading over to the walk in closet. Slipping on a previously picked out outfit for school he sprayed his body in candy scented perfumes, he skipped down the hall towards the kitchen. "Good morning Papa!" he cooed out happily, getting on his tip toes to peck his father, Slate, on the cheek. The older skeleton let out a deep chuckle as he put an arm around the smaller skeleton, hugging him tightly.

Another figure came into view,"Good morning my child, you seem happy for school. Are you that eager to leave your poor family behind?" his mother, Cotton, said, placing her hands over her soul and pretending to be hurt. Taffy gasped an ran into his mother's arms, nuzzling into her neck as his pom pom tail wagged in a blur. Their species were an extremely affectionate people, touching in order to communicate feelings or sooth one another. The rapid tapping of tiny bony feet against hard wood broke up the hug, two small identical skeletons ran up to their older brother, whining with teary eye sockets. In unison, "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO LEAVE US!" the twins, Ash and Soot, cried, holding tightly onto the taller's legs as if to keep him still. Taffy smiled kneeing down to eye level with the baby bones, "It's okay, I'll come home and we can play afterwards, just like before." Even though the twins knew he would come back they didn't want him to leave without them. He led them to the table as they nodded, sitting them in the high chairs placed on either side of him.

After breakfast, and promising to play with them to come home, he grabbed his backpack and rode his bike to school, chaining it to the stand. He puffed out his cheeks, eager to see all of his friends again.

The agitating alarm sounded, waking the black boned skeleton from his once peaceful slumber. Groaning, he drug his body out of the bed, slamming a multicolored hand on the stop button. Sure, Paperjam wanted to see Taffy, the smaller skeleton had gone overseas for the summer so they didn't get to hang out, but he didn't want to do the school part.

Shuffleing through his closet he threw on a t-shirt, jeans, and his favorite jacket, dowsing himself in cologne. Sluggishly, he drug his feet towards the kitchen, plopping himself down at the table. He groaned as his dad, Error, rubbed the top of his skull, the floating parts weaving around his hand. "Come on kiddo, it's not that bad. Now we get another year of games to win." the older said happily. PJ smiled weakly, getting up to look for a protein bar as Error ate out of the fruit bowl. After the 'breakfast', they drove to the school, splitting up as they made their way to the building.

The younger skeleton glanced at the bike rack, smiling as he saw the snow white bike in its usual place. He headed to the library, or librarby, as that was Taffy's usual waiting spot, only to deflate as he saw someone else had gotten Taffy's attention. Now he was in a situation, either ruin the conversation, or let Taffy be sweet talked by someone other than him.

No, he wouldn't let some other asshole swoon Taffy, he stepped forward, making his first step loud so they pair would acknowledge him. And the smile Taffy gave him was worth it, the other ran up to him, hugging him tightly as he nuzzled him face into the taller skeleton's chest.

"It's so great to see you again PJ, I missed you!" PJ smirked at the other student. "It's good to see you too Taff, how was that vacation?" the two chatted about their summer, the other teen now forgotten as PJ took his rightful amount, all, of Taffy's attention. Their conversation was interrupted as another figure decided to butt in, Catty, PJ's girlfriend. "Oh... Hey Catty, you look great today." Taffy always got nervous when she was around, he wasn't the most self confidante person.

The flashy cat monster ignored him as usual, instead choosing to flirt with PJ," Hey there babe, it's been awhile since we played~" she cooed, her purfume permeating the air around them. Taffy headed off as the... couple talked. Taffy hated her, always trying to be in the spotlight, or taking all of PJ's attention for herself. He sighed heading down the hallways, he ran into Undyn and BP," Yo squirt, you seen Paperjam?" the fish monster spoke first, "He was down by the four hundred numbered lockers, but Catty is there so they may have ran off." he said, hoping they didn't catch onto the sadness in his voice.

They thanked him and headed down to look for their friend, discussing Taffy's tone of voice once they were out of earshot. As the skeleton made his way down to class, greeting those who chose to speak to him, something caught his eye. A flyer for homecoming, oh how he wished he could go with PJ, it would be like a dream cone true, but he knew who the other was going to take, Catty.

But that didn't stop him from dreaming, he noticed the bottom of the sheet had those little rip off tabs but he didn't grab one. The loud bell broke him out of his trance and scurried off to class, unaware of the figure who watched him gaze at the bulletin board, it had taken a few tries but he managed to get away from Catty. The taller skeleton tore one of the tabs off and stuffed it into his pick before running to class.
