Hi, I'm Kyris, the completely normal girl who is going to live a long happy life without interruptions...not. Quite the opposite, actually! I live in a world where vampires, elves, faeries, dragons, unicorns, etc., etc.. I also live in a medium sized village neighboring the capital. The village is called Skemris, and the capital is called Refca. Everyone is chosen for a career at age 13, based on there skills or abilities. In this case Im a Beast Tamer. I know, not very original but it's what I was given two years ago, along with being prophesied to assist the "Chosen One" on a quest to save all of humanity or something. And, uh, not to brag or anything, but uh....I'm one of the strongest Beast Tamers in the village. Not by real strength or anything, I'm just able to tame bigger beasts than other people... I think it's because of the prophesied thing. And because of my abilities my looks are different, like the ends of my hair are now white instead of my normal black hair, and my eyes are a unnaturally stormy gray, like looking into rain clouds, I'm told. Anyway! Back to the present! I walk down the gravel pathway, trying not to forget the list of things I need from the market square. The crunching sound under my combat boots become mesmerizing, sending me into a phase of deep thought. I come out of my trance seconds later to see the giant capital gates and two guards stationed at their posts. I look at the guards in the eye and they nod their heads, granting access to the city. I quickly walk in through the gates glancing around at the bustling crowds, keeping my head down as I head to the produce stand in the square. I only spy a few glances my way and smile at how not as many people are paying attention to me. I don't like attention or fame. I gather what I need from the stand quickly and walk away, as if on cue, I hear a distant yelling at the plaza stage. "WHO IS THE LUCKY HUMAN THAT IS TO ASSIST ME ON MY QUEST!"  I hear as I walk up to the stage. Oh no... I think as everyone looks around, all of their eyes landing on me once they found me. I sighed as I had no choice but to raise my hand, giving all the spare attention to me. Assuming the speaker could only see my arm in the huge crowd, I made my way over and climbed up onto the stage. Looking into the Chosen Ones eyes...

Bum,Bum,buuuuuuum...ik ik, this story is probably really cliche, but my imagination is dry...I've been busy thinking of a plot and the next chapter of The Unkept Ones (me and a friends other story) and all that jazz...so...ye. Bye!
