A dark, silent and peaceful room. 1 am on the clock and me laying in bed scrolling through my Instagram. Pretty girl, after pretty girl. A couple of topless boys and people with their friends. And then there's me, all alone. I normally didn't mind the loneliness but social media made it hard. I sat up at the headboard of the bed and decided to put on a song on Spotify, my favorite, best part (play video above).

I sang along quietly with a soft smile on my face. Although I don't believe in soulmates I knew that this song would make me find the one. There is actually a story behind how I fell in love with this song. A couple of days ago, when I was in the music room practicing I heard an angelic voice from another studio room. The curious girl I am I got up and looked around the corner to see a guy. He had brown hair with a pair of stunning eyes. But that wasn't the point, because his voice was absolutely amazing, and the song was so pretty. But before I could walk away he noticed me and gave me a sweet smile.
'I see I already have my first fan!' he said laughing to himself. I felt a warm blush covering my cheeks as I nervously chuckled at his little joke. 'Hey, my name is April' I said. 'Nice to meet you April, my name is Daniel' he explained with a sweet smile. 'Nice to meet you too Daniel, I'm really sorry that I interrupted you but that sounded amazing!' I exclaimed. 'Don't worry about it, I know I can a bit loud while singing' he chuckled.
'Can I ask what song you were singing? I want to add it to my playlist now.' I asked in curiosity. 'It's called best part by Daniel Caesar.' he answered smiling as I saw his little tooth gap. And with that, he started singing again.

I just stood there. His beautiful voice filling the room. And that's how I fell in love with a song. And every time I listen to the song I come back to that moment.
That perfect moment.
